surprised Gonzalez is still out there. Keeping an eye on him. Playing a lot more physical than his detractors would make it seem - very willing tackler and helper in run support.

I‘m not sure we will really see what he is like until the regular season. He seems to do better in man than zone and we won’t see much man in the preseason.

I see that many of Patsfans biggest negative morons have logged on tonight, already predicting doom for the defense in the regular season based upon two bad series in a preseason, game with the likes of Sam Roberts getting starting level minutes on the DL.

the poor tackling/lack of physicality was all BS, when you watch his college tape he was a very willing tackler

coming into the NFL, hes been a very willing tackler

its almost like politics with the draft... Gonzalez was top 5 in some peoples mocks, and certainly in a vast majority of top 10s.. you dont get there, or go in the 1st round when you're a poor tackler that shies away from contact

Gonzalez is the real deal, we're really lucky to have had a shot at him at 14, and even more lucky that we were able to drop back to 17 and have the Redskins take the toothpick Emanuel Forbes instead of Gonzalez

Well, it is preseason for the GDT. It’ll take us a while to get to the point where we throw in the towel after the first play of the game.

From what I can tell, teams were mostly concerned that he has a humble personality and doesn’t talk like PrimeTime. I think it goes to a league wide bias to believe to be a #1 CB, you need to be an overconfident blowhard.
