It's often a timing issue and not all on Mac. Post-snap reads and communication go both ways.
I'm really referring to guys who are open and ready and looking at him on the flanks. He will get there. He will begin to take those 10 easy yards. It's usually Jonnu Smith. But also running backs who are out there.

He isn’t supposed to see people in his periphery, he is supposed to advance through his progressions. Pass plays aren’t drop back and check out all the receivers at once and pick one. It’s reading the first progression, throwing if he is open, moving to #2 if he is not, etc etc.
I know BUT if you see a guy out there for an easy 10-15, take it.

Brady was great at this, except for that one time in the Eagles SB at the end of the game. He had a big gainer if he would have dumped it quickly.

I certainly don’t want to overstay my welcome. So if people want me to stop posting for a while, i’ll do so.

Thanks for the large font, Prairie Cow fan, I can see things more clearly now. You've teetered on the trolling precipice a bit already, which begs the question: why are you wasting so much time here when you should be out shopping for diving tables, bildos and long underwear? You don't want to miss out, you know, considering supply chain issues and all.

Good morning pat fans....getting everyone ready for a Friday:

My 2 cents...Wynn will be out
Dugger and Collins in

Ashley you will have to open the official game thread sooner then later tomorrow and you have to be fired up and command the throops

Man you be trippin'...

There is not any level of quantum reality in existence on which the Patsies win on Saturday night... Not... One.

I'm not sure which you're underestimating more: The Patriots chances Saturday night, or the mind-melting number of possible quantum realities.

This is the way to watch games in Buffalo.

The club seat heaters make it about 20(ish) degrees warmer than the outdoor temps.

So during a 30 degree game, you’re pretty cozy at 50 degrees.

At -5? Well, you may get up to 15 degrees.
Probably a stupid question from a lifelong southerner, but has a football game ever been canceled due to cold weather?

There has been some brutally hot weather games, especially in September in Tuscaloosa that have not been cancelled and as a season ticket holder I have just not gone to because of the heat. When the forecast is for 100 degrees, 80% humidity, 100k people packed into the stadium, our seats in the sun if the game starts at 11 or 2:30 for the entire game it is just miserable. Temps on the field can get to 115 degrees.

TBH, I would go to one of those games in Tuscaloosa 100x before I could even think about going to the game Saturday night game in Buffalo. Like I said before, y'all are some tough M'fkers to be able to do that!!

He doesn't represent the forum. As long as you don't troll you should be fine.

Now GFY.

Wait a minute -- you're claiming on the forum's behalf I don't represent the forum? Anyway, my post explicitly stated "some of us." We know who we are!

How many fecking Canadian fans are there? 10? Give me a break! All those Bills ticket holders were hoping to get rich and listed their seats. Oh well. $50 won't pay the mortgage but might buy a nice bildo.
Try $27 for Bills uppers.

A beer, hot dog and funnel cake is $30

I really want to be positive and optimistic, but just not feeling it after that Miami fiasco. Can anyone help with reasons why we are going to win? Master Belichick game plan? We really are that 7-win streak team? Jonnu breaks out? Bills are chokers? Help!

Just heard on the radio that the last Pats/Bills game, Josh Allen had a season high 16 throws from outside the pocket. Josh Allen is most dangerous when he scrambles right. And had all the time in the world to throw that game.

The more I think about it. The more I think the Pats may be better off blitzing more even though it takes someone out of coverage. Allen has a history of playing poorly in the cold and this will be the coldest game in his career. I think the key to this game on defense is to get Allen to make mistakes more than take away his receiving options. And if you cannot get pressure on Allen with a four man rush, we saw in the last game, it doesn't matter how many people you drop into coverage or how many of his best receiver are out of the game, he will find someone to get the ball to.

I won't try to argue the Pats should be favorites, but here's a few things that may help:

1) Despite how much better the Bills looked in the last game, they were a JC Jackson dropped INT (which is rare when he gets his hands on it) away from having the ball back late in the 4th down 1 score, with the offense having scored on it's last two possessions I think.

2) The Miami game needs to be taken with a grain of salt. Much better Patriots teams have lost to much worse Dolphin teams historically down there. It sucks that we lost, and there were some things that pissed me off about how it happened, but I almost chuck those games out when trying to evaluate this team every year, because it's the freakin' twilight zone down there.

3) I don't think the Bills are chokers by any means. But the playoffs are almost a different game, and you just don't know how some players will/won't react to the atmosphere and pressure. This isn't to say that should make you think the Pats are going to automatically play better, but that once you get in the dance, unless you're someone like Tom Brady who has a massive track record of coming through, it really is "Everyone is 0-0".

So Allen's numbers drop during cold/freezing games (50% completion). Unfortunately, Mac wasn't even allowed to throw in the 1st game. I get that there was snow and high winds, but he wasn't allowed to throw at all. These freezing temps aren't just going to affect Mac but also our slow receivers. If this type of weather affects Allen, how do we think it's going to affect Mac who's never experienced anything like it? But hey, maybe he'll surprise us. Anything is possible.

Oh man, no way. You can adjust for cold. You can’t adjust for heat. Playing college ball in the northeast, I came to that conclusion very strongly. I had games where it was 100 degrees on the field and games where it was 20 degrees on the field… I’ll take the 20 degree one any day

Also to add on about the previous Bills game- we didn’t have Agholor and the Bills really condensed their defense, played inside leverage man with no help over the top, and stuffed the box. The offense has been noticeably better with Agholor this year.

Is Agahlor going to play in the game?

Yeah, I don’t think blitzing Allen a lot is going to be the answer. We can mix in a few because we need to confuse him, but it probably shouldn’t be a staple of the game plan.
1. He’s very good against the blitz.
2. We are vulnerable in the secondary this week. We know that’s REALLY true if mills and/or dugger are out. And they have multiple wrs who can get open quick. Blitzing leaves them exposed.
