Yeah, agreed. If I was commissioner I would suspend him every time he did anything even slightly questionable at this point, and if he didn't stop I'd just kick him out of the league altogether. If you can't restrain yourself from taking cheap shots with clear intent to injure every time you're losing, then you have no right to play in the NFL.

I thought you were the commissioner ..

Yep .. it could be very simple (like in cycling): 2 suspensions - a year out. 2 years out - Lifetime.

He's just following the script given to him by park avenue.

Honestly? I felt like we got the better of the officiating this week than the Bengals. Yeah the Logan Ryan hands to the face call was bad. But they let Gronk taunt the play before they flagged him. They let Blount get away with hands inside the facemask. Rowe could have gotten flagged in the endzone, etc.

Similarly, for the most part I thought Fouts was fine. His call about the Burfict hit was dumb but these announcers tend to side with the officials until there's an egregious mis-call.

I agree with the call balance but Fouts is a dork.

"Cincinnati was smart going for it on 4th and short.... they gained field position"

They also lost 3 points dumbass.

As I stated in the game thread.. We should file a class action lawsuit against CBS for not putting a warning label on Dan Fouts..

WARNING: Excessive listening to Dan Fouts will cause loss of intelligence..

We could have done better, some stupid penalties, but the team reacted well, the D in the first half was shaky, but in the 2nd half they came out firing on all cylinders. Hightower finally having a great game, Roberts filling in the role well for Collins, the D-Line didn't get bullied today, they finally were able to generate some good pressure.
Brady playing lights out, even when our O-Line played like **** he was able to make plays by avoiding defenders and getting the ball out quick.

We really need to fix our interior line, Andrews is our weakest link, Mason didn't do all that well today. Hope we can improve, but this offseason we need to address our interior line.

BTW Eric Rowe played well, this kid gonna improve, he might take the starting #2 CB spot if he keeps playing the way he has.

Lastly Gronk and Bennett are just killers, man, when these guys are on no defense can hold them. Gronk literally helped us win this game. Looks like he is finally 100%. I see him having another big game next week, and I am super happy Bennett still in there getting the ball and making plays. Its good to have 2 blocking tight ends that are physical.

I agreed with the call to go for it there. They're playing the Patriots, in Foxboro. FGs aren't gonna win it and with their defense getting decent pressure/coverage they could have possibly gotten ok field position as their almost worst case scenario.

Dalton should have really just hiked it and dove over the pile. It was like, less than a foot to the goal lline.

Oh BTW.....**** Dan Fouts and the CBS broadcast team today. Unfair in the coverage. Every Bengals penalty was "shooting themselves in the foot," as if they would have been off the field if they let Hogan go running free and make an easy catch. Pats were "getting away with one," while Burfict tackled Bennett's knee while the ball was in the air. Refs call penalties on the Pats for talking while Burfict over and over again instigated **** with everyone by kneeing them in the head after the play, chasing them into the huddle, headbutting people, etc. etc. That stuff is OK, though.

Unreal how biased he was. Totally unprofessional.

"Horse Collar tackle.....they got away with one there"...

No dipshit they did not. Horse collar is meant to protect a running ball carrier down the sideline. AND you have to grab the inside the neck portion of the shoulder pads.

You all know what I saw a weak first half. Thanks for the second half.

On to Pittsburgh.

Jimmy G was laughing it up with Gronk when he got the unsportsmanlike like 15 yarder.

Will the league be handing down fines this week?

BB was mad at Gronk for taking the bait. Blount got in the action too. The Bengals are thugs.

Marvin Lewis played not to lose with 2 timeouts and 1:01 to go in the first half. I cant believe they didnt try to get in range for FG. Cinci was moving the ball well too. There is the difference in a Super Contender like BB and Brady and Marv Lewis and Dalton.

What is up with Gostowski? Missed PAT and he almost hit the post on a FG.

Jamie Collins was missed today, but the defense is really coming along. I dont recall the last goal line stand.

Yeah, I'm convinced that everything got chippy when that **** happened and I'm mostly ok with it. You don't want penalties but you also don't want the other team thinking that they can cheap shot our guys and nobody will care.

I think it boils down to Gronk is human, I am human, you are human, Andy Dalton is human, etc. Everyone is human and sometimes we get in the heat of the moment. Except Brady, I am convinced he isn't human at this point.

@Triumph -They are thugs and their fans are too. During the playoff game fans were chugging things at an injured Ben. Not much class there.

Adjustments, that's what separates Pats from other teams. Our Coaching Staff getting it together in a hurry. I'll say it again, bringing back Scars is Huge. We all know how important our O-Line is and if anyone can make a difference it's him. We'll be Alright with Brady Upright.

Sure. OK. But fouts is still a dork. Debate that.

Poor Kravitz. No fake scandals from the league to report and the Colts stink so might as well think about the Pats.

I said 45-17... the pats killed my prediction because they didn't play up to their standards in the 1st half. The Patriots have to work on third down defense. They can't allow teams to have 8-9 minute drives, multiple times per game.

Let's here it for all the doom and gloomers in the game day thread.

Let's hear it for all the people slamming the O-line and not talking about receivers getting open..

Let's hear it for all the people whining about the Defense and how they never come up big..

Everyone else, feel free to post your constructive criticisms, your positive thoughts, and the legitimate gripes!!!

GO PATRIOTS!
