Giants get the ball in the 2nd half so we really want the lead leaving the first. I don't think 10 points will do it. The O needs to score. Also without Edelman you probably need to go for bigger chunks as getting 5 at a time is less certain.
Trying to throw downfield on a 3rd and 17 is risky in your own red zone. We always do screens and draws, unfortunately Dion Lewis isn't walking though the door.
They had the moemntum on 3rd and 17. we had called a pass play with our makeshift oline and somethign disastratrous happened we would be killing the oline. This oline and offense is not built for big vertical completions on obvious passing situations.
