Official Giants @ Pats postgame thread

I'm not conceding the Jets game either. Their defense has played a lot better, but the Jets don't have the Giants' offense. Manning is a far better QB than Sanchez.

Manning has also been in the league for 6 more years.

Sanchez is quietly starting to put together a nice season after a slow start, the OL has been much improved, the Jets are now physically dominating the LOS, are running the ball as well as any team right now, and Sanchez is starting to gain chemistry and comfort with his receivers.

You're trying too hard, homer.

I guess he is allowed to that that because he played a perfect game today ...

Brady knows where the WRs are supposed to be on a given play.

Ocho doesnt.

I hate to tell you I told you so, but I like many have been right on with this team and where its going.

I will go BIGGEST problem down.

No talent on the Defense.
A poorly coached Defense.
Hate to say it but the QB is getting older and when QB's get older they throw more picks. Marino, Kelly, Warner, Favre, Montana, Manning(yes fanboys, I know brady is better)
Stubborness. This is the biggest, the Patriots had chances to bring in some veteran talent at reasonable dollars. They bargained shopped.

Now they can't blitz late because they don't trust they can pressure the QB or the guys behind can cover it.

What hurts the most !!!

We had the lead with 2 minutes to go and just like the superbowl game we could not stop freakin Eli Manning..Here is the worst part they did it on our house !! They were the more physical team and came into Foxboro and beat us Again....No more excuses get players that are not soft..I watched the fkn Jets game and as much as i hate them they have an attitude,i wish we did..

I imagine it is going to be last years playoff game all over again next week at the future home of Xanadu, so I'll just congratulate you right now and get it out of the way. "Hey man, nice win by the Jets...Rex is in Brady's head and all the sh!t talking really got to the Pats. Your running game killed us and/Sanchez made big plays when he needed to."

Ocho probably wasn't even in the Top 10 of problems the Patriots had today. Find a different whipping boy for this game.

well said..............

Re: What hurts the most !!!

You just had to go and mention that ******* game didn't you. I was doing fine with this loss because my expectations for this team have already taken a drastic tumble in recent weeks but you just had to bring up that ******* game

thread shouldnot have been moved... u spoke the truth

Brady was erratic today. Clutch when he had to be, but only had to be clutch because he was so off up to that point.

Maybe a WR that could get deep and catch would alleviate some of the problems?

Like Ocho is supposed to be doing.

Face it, he was a mistake. Or, would you rather wait until game 16?

Just finished watching the last few minutes of the game and I have to say I am thoroughly disgusted with how piss poor the Refs are. This game was so lopsided in terms of calls in favor of the Giants and non-calls to help them it cost the Pats the game at the end.

For instance. Mankins did not flinch for the "false start" penalty he got.

I lost track of the holding and illegal hands to the face by the Giants O-line. Manningham was holding McCourty on Manning's run with Manningham standing OOB. The "pass interference" that shouldn't have been called on Arrington because the ball was underthrown and Manningham initiated the contact. Not Arrington. You take those away and the PI on Brown never happens..

Now, that doesn't change the fact that Brady sucked in the 1st half. His throws were flat and that is what led to the two interceptions. The Play-calling by the offense was horrible again. Too much of that bunch set that actually helps the defense.

The Defense played better, but when you are having to beat the refs as well as the other team, it's nearly impossible.

Brady underthrew Ocho when he beat his man deep and was wide open in the endzone tonight. Seriously Triumph, you're like a one trick pony with this Ocho hatred.

hate to say it but eli manning > brady in head to head match ups it seems (particularly in the clutch)

Maybe a QB who could actually throw the ball so that the WR on the deep routes could catch it. Sorry, but Brady has regularly over-thrown Chad. Tonight was especially bad since, of the 6 targets that Chad had tonight, I think there was only ONE where Chad actually had a chance on the ball. As for OCHO, he's never been a "deep route" threat. So, that would seem to be your incorrect expectation.

Brady was clutch as hell and he was going against people who aren't Sergio brown, tracy white and a legitimate pass rush. If a Patriots DB learned how to make a play with the ball in the air instead of running into him like an imbecile we wouldn't be having this discussion.

Re: Tracy "fing" White

Face it if you cannot play defense you cannot win. I had no doubt manning would march them right down the field. Plus is it not time for Ohco to go bye bye

Except that Manning didn't "march them right down the field". The REFS marched the Giants right down the field. They missed numerous holding calls, particularly Manningham (while standing OOBS) holding McCourty on Manning's run and the BS PI call on Arrington.

Branch doesn't look like he has it anymore.

The defense looked a lot worse when Spikes went out.

Either you didn't watch the game, or your bias against Johnson makes your analysis useless. Brady was missing throws to his receivers, and they weren't all named Chad.

loved the "are you a freakin idiot" look Brady gave Ocho after he blew that late route..

Except that Brady is the one who blew it. Not Ocho. That was clear as day by where the throw landed 10 yards downfield from where OCHO was..
