In some way it almost seems like they know they accomplished the task.. 3 and 1. I'm sure they are not thinking like that but that went through my head.
This loss is all on the defense and missed tackles, the offensive penalties, the idiotic special teams, the dropped passes by the skill players, THEN the rookie QB missing some throws.
The reason the offense has been atrocious is that the quarterback is an extremely raw 3rd round rookie, a monumental downgrade from Garoppolo, let alone Brady.
Brissett got lucky in his first game because they kept fumbling the ball at their own 20. He's not ready. He shouldn't have been expected to be.
Our game in one series of plays. Lots of opportunities to be had, but we can't execute. Exactly what I was afraid of this week. It's really frustrating. Brady will have to overcome a lot of deficiencies if we expect to make it very far in the playoffs.
