Game Day Thread OFFICIAL GAMEDAY: Patriots @ Cardinals Week 1

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

In fairness tho....when is the last time Blount fumbled?! Anyone know?!

At least we still winning

Win or lose we played well on both sides. Turnovers killed us. We could be up 17-0

Why go soft D when the pressure was working all game long?

So yeah, we should be winning this running away. F.uck

If there was ever a game where the Pats needed to WIN the turnover battle it was this one. But think about this game if it were just even. Both AZ TD's started on the NE side of the football

I thought our d could come up with a TO but no luck yet

Okay, but I still don't buy it completely when his biggest games have been against teams that normally struggle against the run. If he were as good as you all say, why did he not receive a single offer on the open market in the offseason and only two the last time he hit FA? His off the field stuff has not been that bad in the NFL? I'm just refusing to be a prisoners of tonight when I've seen many more sub par performances, and I like Blount.
Every running backs best games are against teams that struggle against the run. Duh.

I like Blount (fumble notwithstanding). I think he is an average RB, nothing special. I just wanted to point out that he has been better than 2 YPC. He isn't useless, but he is by no means a top-tier starter.

no idea but it is still no excuse for what jsut happened. 10 point lead and you're running it you better hold onto the god damn ball

Whats going on with the redzone defense? We can't hold them to 3?

Helmet on the ball knocked it out. It is hard to blame Blount much for that. That is a forced fumbled that is worthy of the name. It is HARD to hold onto the ball when that happens and usually you don't no matter who you are.

Only reason this is a game is the fumbles at the 30+ and 40+ of AZ....

You will lose if you can't hold onto the ball in you're own territory. That's just football 101.

At this rate we'll lose a close one, gotta put it in Jimmy's hand and hope for the best because our backs cannot be trusted.

That was ugly, the fellas better get their **** together. Seems like they've been lackadaisical since the fg.

Hopefully Palmer will take his punishment very soon
