2. This is one of the better run games and the Pats have pretty much shut it down.
3. Did I just hear Davis Harris was sighted on the field
4. I think Atlanta is doing the right thing by going for it on 4th down 2 times. The Pats offense was decent and he knew he was going to need a lot of points.
5. More on Adam Butler in my Idle thoughts - But it is amazing that 2 of the four starting DL are rookies, one a 4th round pick, the other an UDFA ( how did THAT happen???????)
However this game turns out, I have SO MUCH more confidence in them. It's amazing. I don't know why I ever let doubt creep in. You'd think, by now, I'd know better. This team is starting to gel. The offense and the D. I thought this D would be toast this season. Shame on me. ... But, there's a long way to go. Feels good.
This is the Patriots Football we have been sorely missing.
I’m feeling nostalgic guys...
Even if they pull the miracle we did, I’m so proud of the defense today. And the offense is pulling its weight... I couldn’t be happier with their performance today.
Anyone else a little uneasy? I’d hate to have a flipped narrative like we did end of Seattle game last year. Let’s get off to a good start this second half.
This 40 yards gained at the end of the half and some desperation running out the clock yardage will take the Falcons over 300 yards, and the 300 yard streak will be used next week and beyond to call the defense weak.
Guys, long game with lots of football left. The Pats can not get confident and let the Falcons back in this game. They can score 3 TD in a heartbeat. 60 minutes. Have to play 60 minutes!

Of course but there isn't any logical reason why we should be. Pats are playing a lot better in every aspect of this game thus far. Falcons are going to put up some points. It's a matter of us matching their scoring.

Although I'm happy with the score, I'm still annoyed at that bogus OPI. That and defensive holding on run plays are terrible calls that are gaining popularity, but they really ruin the flow of the game. Let players jostle for position.
