Certainly not what we expected. All the talk this week was about how Grier might be QB2 instead of Zappe. Instead, it's Cunningham, Zappe is QB3, and Grier is not even active. Certainly surprising, and seems like perhaps Cunningham is further along than they expected. I wonder if Grier will become the QB3 in a week or two and they will cut bait with Zappe - or with Mac.

It's fascinating that Cunningham rather than Zappe is the backup. It might mean nuthin', but it might not.

I know we're not likley to win much from here on out, but if you set the likely record aside (which you might as well do, lol!), this is going to be sort of a fascinating season.

It is surprising that Thornton and Reagor have jumped Boutte. I wonder if Bouttee reverted to form; he has had a horrible relationship with multiple sets of college coaches.

I’m sure they’ll try to shop Mac if they want to move on from him… Lance got the 49ers a fourth round pick and he’s done nothing in the NFL. I think they can get a third or better for Mac.
