This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.
At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.
Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.
This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.
If you do you will have your account suspended.
I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.
I'm finding Romo a bit over-excitable sometimes, but otherwise he is doing really well, conveying excellent knowledge of the game combined with a bit of humour.
I don't love what I've seen from the defense, but I suppose it's fair to ask this. How often do we face a QB as good as Brees? He may be tougher than any QB we faced last year.
Yeah, exactly! We can't expect a shut out every week. One must consider the competition, and this week the competition is Drew Brees and company on their home field which is a dome. Not many tougher tasks defensively than that. 13 points near the half is pretty good.
Also can we take a moment to give Sean Payton props on that call to try to get a jump on 4th and 3 as opposed to taking the 3? I think that was an incredibly smart play.
Basically a 95% chance to make a FG from that spot so you take a 5% chance to lose 3 points for probably higher than that to get more. A very BB like move considering how he can't depend on his D here.
Interesting . I was wondering why Coleman was SO wide open. Was it a miscommunication? Was it a bad read? Or what. Well it looks like the Staints have taken the pick play to new heights with the "down field pick". Not a penalty, but simplay a great play design.
It will be interesting to see what the Pats can do to defend it......if they can do anything at all on the fly.
