Normally I'd aggree with you and I had no problem with the first 3 runs. However after they got the ball on Niner half of the field with about 30 seconds left, THEN it was time to get it into FG range.....and they really didn't
Under more "normal" weather conditions I'd agree but I am not even sure where you'd assume Ghost's FG range starts under those conditions. You might have to get close to the redzone to think about kicking.
Its more on the offense today so far.. the D gave up 10 points. The offense hasn't been perfect hopefully they go for high percentage plays and get in the end zone a couple times in the 2nd half.
Are you a Patriots fan? Lol I mean that in a "We're always in the AFCCG" kind of way. I'm not referring to the games we've lost-- I'm worried about key plays in big games, i.e. the playoffs, where our team does not look prepared to compete.
And we could theoretically lose this game, the way we're playing.
And key defensive plays cost us the Seattle game-- we rushed 2 and sent 9 into coverage in the second half and the Hawks were still wide open. our offense was not shut out-- we lost by 7 in a game where Seattle scored 31.
Please do not make excuses for this defense. They are flat out bad this year. Accept it.
I am a patriots fan. I am also a football fan in general. I watch every game every week. Do you watch any games that don't include the Patriots? No one plays good defense anymore, and what is considered to be good defense today, would have been considered garbage 20 years ago. The rules are so slanted to the offense. Bottom line 18PPG is not awful. If you consider that awful then who do you feel is better?
How many games has NE ever looked unprepared to compete in the Playoffs?
This o-line is worse than I thought. I thought that they could at least run block with efficiency. I was wrong for giving them more credit than they deserve.
