Game Day Thread Official Game Day Thread- Pats @ Steelers

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

Chris, going to have to wait until next week, he's going to be inactive today.
I know I saw that’s what I’m saying I want him to make a impact in the return game and start to challenge for playing time.

I won't say a must win game, but very crucial for the scheme of things in the AFC. Both could be competing for a wild card spot in the end. Let's get the W with no injuries

Need to go back to running the ball well to get Pittsburgh off rhythm in attacking the QB. Mac has to complete passes further down field when given the time as he likes to throw to the shallowest WR. He had opportunities last week, but wouldn’t do it. Defense can’t allow Mitch to jog around the field like last time.

Pittsburgh isn’t anything special, so this is a winnable game. And yes, all AFC games are treated as must wins. Anyone who disagrees does not understand playoff seeding.

The team can’t go home 0-2 waiting for a date with Lamar Jackson playing for a new contract.

The Steelers needed +5 turnovers just to be in a position to get the Bengals into overtime. Then it took a bad snap to the Bengals kicker for the Steelers to win in OT.
But that was last week. I believe if the Patriots have zero turnovers, then they win.

Anyone know of a good link to watch the games?

Jones could be a healthy scratch this week because the Steelers feature Chase Claypool (6-4), rookie George Pickens (6-3), and Miles Boykin (6-4) along with Diontae Johnson at wide receiver. Rookie cornerback Jack Jones and second-year CB Shaun Wade are both active and could see reps at corner even over Myles Bryant to match up with a bigger group of Pittsburgh receivers.

Jennings will play ?

Mac: I like short, quick passes for enough yardage to move the sticks and eliminate the pass rush.

Can I have an Oreo shake with that, please?
