Let me start by saying this is on Belichick for hiring and sticking with this clown, but good god.

He continues to be the most uncreative offensive coach I have ever seen. I don't blame Mac for losing his **** out there. Going from McDaniels to Patricia has to be SUCH a shock.

There is no spacing, no timing. He can't get the personnel groupings out in time. He can't get the plays out on time.

As far as commentators.... Vilma is an idiot. He explains nothing. He also thinks top QBs are calm and collected. Has he watched any Brady film? Rodgers? Marino? Manning? And on and on and on? Those guys lose their goddamn mind.

Zappe is the only QB on the team capable of bringing us back in this game.

Not going to happen. We have to hit rock bottom for that to happen. Maybe if we are mathematically eliminated from the playoffs. Until then you are sadly dreaming.

This shouldn't be a surprise. This team just isn't good enough. A lot of AFC teams made drastic changes in the off season to imrove their teams, some didn't pan out and some did. We did next to nothing on a team that barely made the playoffs last year and if not for the wind game against Buffalo, we would have missed the playoffs.

How do you not go out and get a number 1 WR for Mac or draft one in the first round?? A young QB needs a legit number 1 WR. We go out and get a gingerbread man in Parker who is guaranteed to miss 4+ games every year. He's a number 3 on some teams. This is partly why this offense sucks, our WR group is mid at best.

Why am I a troll? You think Bill has done a decent job coaching this year? He hasn’t even been average, he’s been one of the worst coaches in all of football this year. And it goes back to before the season even started with his poor decision making. You can refer to me as a troll all you want, I’m still right.

Definitely feels like it. Just a bizarre showing from a group that shouldn't be playing this badly in Week 15. It's the same thing every week, zero progress being made. But again, maybe this is what needs to happen to realize this decision wasn't the right one.

Realizing he needs to move his offensive coordinator back to dealing with contracts and numbers.

Needs a real OC, OL coach, and QB coach.

Mental breakdowns in every phase of the game so far. It’s never the same thing every week. Offensive line is actually playing well even though it’s been the weakest link all year.

Too many spread shotgun plays when the under center run plays have worked. Peppers and Jonnu not being set and ready at the snap costing the Pats a td and resulting in a punt being blocked.

I agree that Mac isn’t playing well and I agree that the coaches are doing a bad job. But I’m often reticent to post that because it seems like stupid fans need to make everything a referendum on Bill as a coach, Mac vs Zappe or Bill vs Brady. It seems like there is a large swath of fans on here see everything as binary/black or white when the teams issues often have multiple factors. Makes the game thread toxic when people can’t focus on the actual plays and instead want to say Bill is a bad coach without Brady or it’s obvious Zappe is a better qb than Mac.

They need to bring Zappe in. He might play just as poorly, but this offense is asleep at the ****ing wheel. No energy at all.Bring Zappe in and just see if he can provide a spark.

It’s become so exhausting and adding more misery to this miserable season with all the Zappe fanatics, trying to ditch our 15th overall pick half way into his 2nd year

I almost want them to play him at this point so that A) it can shut up the incessant mob and B) so I can laugh at them when zappe comes in and makes this **** show even worse with his lack of experience and 500 batted balls a game

I suppose it would be amusing to watch them spin in circles making excuses for him the rest of the year when the team continues to suffer from all the obviously glaring holes it has that Zappe wouldn’t magically fix

We still have a coordinator that is running the offense at a 3rd grade level, a putrid Oline who is just as likely to commit a penalty as they are to let pass rushers thru at the QB, incredibly inconsistent wide receivers, no punter, an aging kicker that can’t kick beyond 50 or so yards and can’t do kickoffs, etc.. the list goes on


But let’s pretend all that doesn’t exist and that Zappe is the magic bullet to come in and solve everything because he had 2 ok games against garbage teams before crapping his pants against Chicago

This is a bad team with Mac Jones, it would be a bad team with Zappe, it would be a bad team with Tom Brady


But like I said, it’s miserable enough to watch this team right now with all these problems, but then adding the Zappe-mania on top of everything else is just the dressing on top of the **** salad we’re being served

Let’s just trash our 15th overall pick that got this team to playoffs his rookie season under a real offensive coordinator and made a pro bowl so we can throw Zappe into this dumpster fire which will change NOTHING and also prevent us from evaluating wtf we actually have out of this mess

I hate to say it's exactly as I predicted. I hope beyond hope to see something different, but they prove our eyes correct.
The team is a mess, and there's no trust in each other on offense - from coaches to player chemistry.
Worst Pats football I've seen in a long time.
And, while I don't think it's all Mac. I do think, since our season is over, it wouldn't hurt to put Zappe in 2nd half to see if he can do anything.
Mac is wrecked until we get a whole new O coaching staff next year anyway.

The entire Patriots offense has gone catatonic. From the players to the coaches. The incompetence is everywhere!
