Nope. I was being sarcastic before, but the OL is being beaten like a rented mule. Still, Mac needs to have better pocket presence. Agholor was his outlet receiver underneath but he chose to hold the ball longer for the home run shot to Bourne even though he’s been running for his life all day.

the OL played fine for Zappe. I guess they just don’t want to play for Mac

Too early for that. He does deserve his shot, after all. To this point this season, though, I think Zappe has clearly outplayed Mac.

At some point you need some sort of pocket awareness, no? Isn’t Mac smart? Your line isn’t playing particularly well so at some point you should step up into the pocket and do something.

mac could’ve easily stepped up on that throw. The defense of him is getting to be a joke IMO

Yes, his arm was hit. BUT, he could have actually stepped up into the pocket. And he could have hit Agholar earlier and shorter.

There is more to the play than simply a hit arm.
