I didn’t say they were worlds better. But when those three plays caused 17 points by one of those teams (one being a defensive fumble recovery for a TD) and the other being a 47 yard TD on 4th and 7, those aren’t representative of how the whole games has gone.
And the score is 20-7. That is two scores. Not three.
I was talking about when it was 0-17 but yeah......regardless, it's a pretty tough sell to say your team is playing better down 20-7 or 0-17 but have at it I guess.
Typical game against the Dolphins, we make more mistakes than usual, they get all the breaks and bounces, and in the end we know that Miami is still inferior... Really hate playing down there.
The team that gets more points is the better one, definitionally. Come on. I get what you're saying, but at a certain point it's just trying to make ourselves feel better. Same with all that crap about how if you played the first Giants Super Bowl 10 times the Pats win 9 of them. Well, we pretty much played it two times and lost them both.
Sometimes you really feel like your team is better, but it's not true.
You can tell by the final score.
PS - I was all ready to win that super bowl, frankly we DID win that super bowl...
