THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

How does John Hussey impact this game?

The Dolphins are getting the best referee assignment they could hope for in Week 1 with John Hussey who brings the best home-field advantage record of any official over the past 6 seasons in the NFL.

Additionally, many of the penalty categories that the Dolphins struggled with this past season were not a point of emphasis for John Hussey.

And, maybe more than any time I can remember, I get the sense game 1 might set a tone (+ or -) for the Fall.
Not to me. Buffalo Bills - 31-0 2003 opening game beat down loss is still ingrained in my head as the wellspring where many Pats/New England fans finally got out of the "Red Sox" we're always going to lose no matter what happens mentality and started understanding that football is much more a true marathon, mercurial in its unfolding, and full of change (especially due to injury/wear down).

Except take it out on the other team. Let's beat the crap out of them today.
Remember the early season hot, hot (but at night) game in Miami where Welker had the 99 yard reception and Brady passed for over 500 yards? The Patriots came out in a spread offensive set, heavy on no huddle, and really made MIAMI run out of gas.

Interesting approach and not sure if the 2022 team could pull it off, but it would be intriguing.

OLB: Judon, Uche, Mitchell

That’s thin. Maybe Bentley plays more in the edge.

Back now from a trip on the lake

A win today would create allready a good start and good feeling...

Win in Miami looks really tough as we know but we have to hope

I have the feeling that our defense expecially at LB is better or at least i hope so

Ashley you have a mission
RALLY this Gtd at best !!!

Go Pats as always

And away we go......
