I'm guessing this is the D team, as I've never seen or heard of them before...I guess we weren't getting Romo/Nance today. lolMcCarthy Feely the crew...

Who do you want to start instead? and herron at LT is better than JE i think
today it is unfortunately neccesary to move him. I think he is great at RT too and would like to see him there as a starter maybe next season but want to play herron or JE at guard today? Agree that neither Herron or JE should be starter at LT, they are better suited to the right side, maybe Herron future Guard idkIt's a waste sliding Onwenu to guard. He's gotta play RT when Wynn is back. The problem is both Herron and Eleumanor are terrible at LT.

Just to answer your original question, the $1m number was Newton’s base salary and all that was guaranteed. He had a ton of incentives, which for salary cap purposes were considered not likely to be earned so didn’t count against the 2020 cap. He earned a few of them, which is where the $3.7m comes from. To the extent any of those incentives he actually made didn’t count against the 2020 cap, they will count against the 2021 cap (not explictly listed as charges for Newton, but rolled into the overall Patriots “adjusted” cap number for 2021).Stid under wraps might also preserve some sort of options in Bill's mind, who knows. As for Cam, I never thought immediately he'd be selfish and brooding, and I was certainly hoping for success... with my private fear that running QBs break, and he looked pretty broken. He'd always gotten injured, but was usually able to come back.
And that said... I can't believe I'm typing this... he's not gone yet. Those FA waters might be pretty tepid, and it might be time in his career that he'd be good as the vet backup. The only problem there is that the wily and parsimonious NE Patriots might say to themselves, at the last minute, after losing a prospect... "You know what? He's got a year in and he's a pro level QB. So what if he's seen better days, he might be good now that he's had more reps."
Also:
"EWWWWW! That milk was SOUR yesterday, I can't believe I never threw it out! Maybe it's good today."

Winning > losing. Always. I don’t care about the pick being 3, 4 or 5 slots lower. Winning is the only reason you play.
i think thuney yeah probablyYes I'm not pushing hard on this point today bc a loss today wouldn't be a bad big picture outcome. But Onwenu is a waste at guard. He can play multiple spots but RT is just so much more valuable. The problem is no one can play LT if Wynn is out. Can Thuney play LT ? Herron has so many clips I don't care to dig up, of getting his ass kicked at LT.

Thuney has played at LT and did fine
