First, that is irrelevant. Thornton should have dragged his second foot. He has had problems with going out of bounds all season. That is on Thornton.

Second, it was slightly overthrown, but still catchable and well in bounds. As much as you want to blame Jones, you cannot.

of course you can. Thornton is a rookie, he will get there but if the ball would be complete accurate he would have caught it with two feet in bounds. It just wasn't a perfect pass

Third, the Pats were lucky there wasn’t enough evidence to overturn it.
