We took his college teammate Michel instead. That’s looking like a mistake. Chubb is running behind a worse OL but he’s clearly better and doesn’t have the knee issues Michel does.
Feels strange to say when they’ve only surrendered 7 points, had three turnovers and been in unfavorable field position but thus far it is the defenses “weakest” outing of the season.
I liked him a lot but I can't tell if he's fallen off or if the OL is just that bad. I am ok with Michel's lack of production because of the OL but I was hoping Burk could find a way to make things work.
He still might. Still think with the state of the OL as it is i would run more shotgun with Burkhead tonight and depending on Mason most probably even next week.
They need a lot. TE, WR and O line. Biggest need in my opinion is WR or TE, preferably one that demands double coverage. That is what Brown did. Double him, double Edelman..everyone can feast. Instead it is only one being doubled. That changed the offense.
