The compact/heavy formations close to the goal-line killed us against SEA and just lost us this game, too. You need to spread the field and force the defense to declare what they're playing. By playing these guys in a phone booth on a short field, you're effectively allowing them to defend the run and the pass at the same time.
The ball is at the 2 yard line; not the half-yard line. Stupid play-calling. So freakin' stupid.
No offense, but you should probably get to know who’s in this community and understand their posts, rather than relying on pms to tell you who is a troll. I’m not trying to be an *******, but I’ve literally never trolled on this forum and you said I was trolling and gave me warnings.
Oh well. At least they are showing some life. Amazing what happens when you say 'screw it' and pass the ball down field. Half the battle for offenses is finding the will to do that. Yes it's a risk, but the rewards on big, and when your offense is struggling raising the risk is obviously the correct choice.
