This will come down to who has ball last I'm guessing.....Pats are clearly the better team....but squeelers are tough and Pats letting them hang around.....going to be interesting

Half time thoughts

1. The Steeler D was playing the best D in the league at the end of the season, and they only really stopped the Pats once that first half. The other time we dropped a ball

2. I LOVE that there hasn't been a penalty (that I noticed) so far. Great job by the refs

3. I worry about covering James. I worried before the game and I guess I was right.

4. Rothlessberger might be having the best game of his career against the Pats and they only scored 9 points. They are just one mistake away from watching the Pats pull away'

5. Watch the effect that being on the field so long for the Steeler D. The running game will get better.

6. Bell's loss as a receiver is worse for the Steelers than his loss as a runner.

7. Game changing play by Valentine

8. AT LEAST Half the TV time is being taken up by commercials

This defense has been pathetic besides the stop at the goal line. I feel like they should be up by two tds. This team's going golfing if the defense doesn't start getting stops. Big for the squealers. Keep it close

Unreal. Ben is taking what they are giving him. And he is taking it not taking chances down the field except twice where there was perfect coverage. How long does he stay patient? My guess is he can't for 3 quarters. And when you play one of the worst red zone teams you don't let them have the quick easy score...do yourself a favor and look back at how many yards Pittsburgh had last week and then how many points they had.

pats played it right before the half..those that thought always we not paying attention

Hope the D can settle down and get some stops.

Not worried about the offense. They're tearing it up

Pats D has to get off the field to give Brady and Co. more opportunities to score

Guys, what can the Pats do to limit Brown and Bell but also take away the underneath stuff. Anything? Or is this just something you have to live with?

Not unless you have a team with 2-3 pro bowl/all pro level LBs that work together like one mind.

3 and out here.... Would be HUGE! Cmon D!

Expect pittsburgh to really open it up in the 2nd half with antonio brown

I feel like we shoukd be up two tds. Might come to bite them in the fanny.

Stop them first drive and there's a real chance for Brady to open this game up

Steelers get the ball -- I do think there's some merit to the idea that their plan for Bell was thrown off when he went out and that put them off balance a bit. Looking Matt P to make big time adjustment second half.

Excellent points. I don't see Ben staying patient. So far he has been excellent at it, but he has that itch to take a chance and we will get at least one or two more balls that will be up for grabs. He already threw one.

Bell is limited by a left ankle injury....no offense meant but are u watching game?! Deangelo Williams is still a beast and is a dangerous backup

What the hell did Bart Scott mean with "watch your luggage" . i missed first part of that conversation.

The Falcons proving what Minnesota and GB and the Indianapolis Peyton's already proved. If you have a decent QB and spend all your money and draft capital on offense for years- you will have a real good offense.

And a dogs**t defense.
