I’d be shocked if we spent a primium amount of money on a fourth safety. Honey Badger would be very shocking.

"Can"? Or, "might be able to"?

Probably the majority of rookie RBs often fail to produce in their first two years what Gillislee produced in just 9 games this season.

Also, it's just an assumption that Gillislee's production will remain static at his 2017 level and not improve.
I’m just keeping things simple. Belichick will always want the younger, cheaper option if the talent or expected production is similar. I don’t know how many non-ST players who have been healthy scratches most of the season have gone on to have productive years with the same team, but I’m guessing that it’s rare.

I’m expecting a RB via the draft, and I wouldn’t be shocked to see him on the 53 man roster. We’ll have to see how it all works out.

I don't expect them to pay what he'll want, though I think he'd be a good signing. But, if you bring him in, you're transitioning that safety corps for next year (2019), which is the last year of McCourty's deal, or 2020, when McCourty's deal would be off the books.

I saw every Eagles game and Curry was limited in the snaps, because of their strong DL. He's got a motor in his ass. I do not much about Clayborne but Curry is worth a look. And yes,he definitely can rush a passer.

I'm clinging on to hope till he signs elsewhere. He's WAY more than just a "fourth safety" imo
Has he even been contacted or visited anyone yet? Are teams waiting to see what happens with the Earl Thomas situation? If we signed him, I wouldn’t be surprised. Our starting SS and FS are both 30+ and won’t be getting any faster. At first the Honey Badger would be an excellent piece to the puzzle and transition himself into a starting role. He’s young enough that by the time he is a starter his contract will more likely be considered a bargain.

My hate for the Ravens... it’s not that I hate that they did something greasy like this, a lot of teams I could see doing the same thing.

It’s just that they’re the ultimate hypocrites for trying to call us out for being deceptive. They act like they’re such a good character organization, when in reality they’ve had a lot of POS individuals.

Nothing worse than a hypocrite who can’t handle others success. Right up there with the Jets in that regard.

@holyredeemer I have not seen any planned visits as of yet, which is kind of odd seeing as he's the guy who's supposedly holding up the safety FA signings...at least according to Mike Mitchell. Lol! He's not setting the safety market though. Mike Mitchell is a moron.

Mathieu is a game changer with no doubt. His advantage is his versatility and it is commonly known BB loves this type of players. We need someone who helps booster safety position. The question is Honey badger prefers the culture of winning or the culture of earning money? If the second one,he is not destined to be a Patriot.

Man! That Ozzie newsome is some kind of amazing!!! What a terrific GM! #stayclassyozzie

Gilislee was the team's leading rusher through week 9, iirc. Still, under 4ypc, so nothing to write home about.

He's already said it's not all about the money...he wants to win. That should give ALL of hope cause NO ONE wins more than the Pats!

I got it but it is a mantra of every player last time. We shall see what team he will choose.

Is this the real Adam Schefter?
And I hope it's nothing over 5 mill
