WTF do you know about being Realistic? You've been one of the debbie downer crowds for ages.. You critique everything BB does as if it's the end of the World if you happen to disagree with it.

these threads are getting so long so fast I can't follow anymore.

Butler was gone anyway as was Lewis. Dola was a WR4 who was clutch on third downs and especially in the playoffs. But he was still just a WR4. He got a 8.25m/12m 2 year contract. He was gone the moment he got the offer.

Solder is the only player where you can say the Pats actually tried to keep him because he makes the team considerably better but could not get a deal done. He was lost. The others not so much.
Could not agree more. To me it is a fair start of FA. Loss of Solder hurts but to be honest every Olineman will take money offered to Nate with no hesitation. We lost Dola,Lewis too but I did not believe they would be back with such a narrow salary cap. For the beginning we got a big body Shelton to help us against the running game and Burkhead is back as well.Sounds fair to me.

matches some of the posters trains of thoughts then.

HIHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

So where are we on Suh Mathieu and Nelson?

I wonder if the benching of butler in the super bowl has some free agents spurning the pats.

Just shut up. And especially dont give anyone on this board any lesson about appreciating Amendola. You should have a ****ing plugin on you that prevents from even writing his name after your clownshow about him since he was signed.

I love how YOU OF ALL PEOPLE are now bemoaning the loss of Danny Amendola.

lol here is a REAL rich one from him
I have a jihad it just isn't against Amendola it's against posters like you who are irrational and base their opinions on emotion and then take shots at other posters if they don't agree. Truth is Ivan if you act like you act on this board in real life you probably would have lived past high school. Let me tell you something for fact if you and I were standing face to face and I told you not to talk to me I can all but guarantee that you'd make sure you listened. So put your little underdog loving little slot WR obsessed tail between your legs and go back to looking at Internet porn.

On that note I'm done talking about Amendola for good because I realized only the posters I don't want to engage with talk about Amendola. I will come back and post smiley faces in a few days when Belichick cuts his sorry ass and listen to you cry like you did when Welker got the boot.
.

This was after the 2014 playoffs

Where are the smiley faces @Brady6

Is our offense better worse?
We lost Solder, Lewis, and Amendola—with a Gronkowski retirement a possibility.

How on earth would anyone who’s being realistic view that as “better?” Honestly? Not meaning to be negative, but I’m baffled by how you’re reaching this conclusion on day one of FA.

The defense saw Branch, Butler and Francois swapped out for Danny Shelton. This side of the ball is an improvement, too?

I have no doubt it will be a consideration for a few years, on top of all the others:
- Heavy discipline
- History of pay cuts
- Weather/Boston market x LA Florida NY

I'm in the trade Gronk party

Gronk isn't retiring..
You're overlooking the players who are returning from injury as well. You're not typically a nervous nelly, Supafly..

I'm going out on a limb and guessing that it's the lack of dollars in the contract offers compared to other teams that is causing some free agents to spurn the Pats. Whoever they are.....

Interesting little nugget . doesn't make sense but thats NFL*

Jules being back accounts for not signing DA as well, so that is an upgrade. We weren’t going to carry all those WRs most likely.

We took Burkhead over DLew so yes worse although better cap mgmt.

Obviously NS is a big loss but remains to be seen what we do.

So worse at the moment.

Branch was a non factor, Butler has a long way to go and RJF was helpful but not impactful. We cut some weak links knowning we have Guys returning from injury. Defense will be better with all returns and signings
