If they don't draft an offensive player tonight, I might lose my s—t.

[Don't get me wrong: I'm not opposed to any of the players selected, just the combination thereof.]
Now you’re making me root for another D player. Just to watch the meltdown.

Added: nothing personal, just one of my perverse amusements.

Cons: He's late off the ball and lacks the fast twitch to be an elite LB at the next level. Not dynamic athlete by any stretch and will struggle to do the diverse things an elite EDGE defender doesn't in the NFL. His effort is inconsistent. He also has some stiffness in his hips and may struggle as a tackler in the open field. Lacks good lateral agility and closing quickness to get to the QB.

was this player a 3rd round player?

great edge setter. Hes more of a run defender than pass rusher who is good enough to play all 3 downs

There were 3 safe bets in this draft: Burrow to Bengals #1, Young to Redskins #2 and Anfernee Jennings to Belichicks at wherever..

Yeah, if I ever brought an Afernee home to my dad, he would kill me....let's hope this one can play some good defense though.

Bust. I can tell by his name alone. Once you're named "Anfernee", you're set for failure.

Do you know what Penny Hardaway's real first name is?

I look forward to hearing more about how the Patriots don't draft for need.

Any good big bodied DTs left? That is our weakness on D. Can't get abused by Derick Henry types again.

BB-

Yo A-Aron, we building you a studly D, come play here for 2 years while Stidham develops.

Or..hey Trevor...we got a D for you. Lets roll!

BB ain’t going anywhere anytime soon.

The other thing that is probably holding back Jennings' draft stock: a traumatic knee injury that nearly resulted in a leg amputation. A PCL tear in the 2018 Sugar Bowl National Semifinal against Clemson caused damage to the artery in his left leg and produced a blood clot. Fortunately for Jennings, doctors were able to diagnose and treat the injury quickly before amputation was necessary.

what...the ....FAKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kraft has his mouth opened and I am sure he is asking, what the hell is BB doing? He is going back to 2001, after all gas is 1.99 again.

Ashley’s replacement for Elandon Roberts.

Anfernee Jennings is 6-3, 259 pounds. He had 44 pressures on 294 pass-rush snaps in 2019, per
@PFF
. They had him graded equally well as a pass rusher and run defender. More of a traditional edge defender than Josh Uche, who's more of a hybrid.

I don't hate the idea of going all in on D. If you don't have a great QB you need to win with defense and and creative play calling or manufactured points.

Also if the offense is bad enough we can still tank even while getting younger and better on D.
