I’d double him and audible into a run right at him, then. Maybe in obvious third down situations, yeah. I’ll concede that. But second and third and short? Absolutely not.

Time will tell. Me, I'm still hoping for Lawrence, if the Patriots actually pick at 32. The Patriots need another fatass at the point.

Dunno why people get stuck on disparaging picks like Ferrell, guy's a heck of a player and if you suspect he's not going to be there when you next pick, take him.

Ferrell especially is a player that several teams were inevitably going to fall in love with. There are some guys who get mocked in the 10s-20s because that's their "expert" average but some teams might have in the 50s and others in the top-5 and if you like him that much you take him, especially if nobody's blowing up your phone (and it's doubtful anyone is).

White's the best linebacker in the draft since Kuechly. I think he's probably the best player in the draft but linebacker's a bit devalued.
