Anyone else taking bets on when Fletcher replaces Hightower in the starting lineup? The D took on a different look when Fletch was in the game. Although Hightower is playing out of position and doing the best he can after being thrust into a new role, he's just been lost and a step slow too often. Fletcher was everything we needed him to be and did everything we needed him to do. He rushed the QB, blew up holes in the run game (even causing a momentum-swinging fumble), and he covered well when asked to do so.

Collins played well on the plays where he was noticed. I don't know if he made any glaring mistakes other than a few missed tackles I saw, so I'll say he played well. I'll have to look closer, though.

Great Game. I freaked during the first half. I can't remember if I had ever seen such such a poor showing in one quarter from this team. But they pulled off an amazing comeback. Man my heart is still pounding from OT.

Yup. They were up 24-0 at halftime. C'mon. You can't win hold on to that with the media-proclaimed (for the most part) best QB, and possibly best player, of all time?

Brady had the arm strength to make the throws that Manning couldn't. That was huge in this game.

According to marshall faulk, its because brady had BB one of the greatest defensive mind on his side whereas brady was throwing to open WRs.So brady has the advantage of not playing a BB coached defense. :bricks:

Not much you can do when our DL is a shadow of itself with our interior consisting of one UDFA and one 6th round pick, on top of which the Denver's OL is no joke. I'd say, top 3 or 4 OL in the league, easily.

Not to mention Brady is throwing to pro bowlers like Edelman, Thompkins, and Amendola while Peyton is stuck with scrubs like Welker, Thomas, and Decker.

But of course Faulk didn't mention that the secondary was being held together with glue. But of course, Brady once again won't get his credit. Nobody talks about how Brady has to face the Ravens' D whenever they say Flacco outplayed Brady, while playing against the statistically worst pass defense of that season.
