You know I promised myself I wouldn't mention him lol

Get Ersery at #38 and then get your RB and TE in the 3rd or later.

That would give some real juice to the OL with growth potential and still allow you to get a good RB while taking some shots at developmental WRs with the physical skills.

We have gotten Givens, Edelman, Douglas and others in the late rounds.

I gotta be honest I am not convinced we take a WR tomorrow and I don't buy that Booty is on the trade block.
#Dumbass/Wheelchair boy couldn't even get on the fkn field, #Stonehands? I dunno, what do you guys see?
Boutte was a ROOKIE with Bill, He had a history of sitting Rookies UNLESS he needed them, kinda like Brady, he hardly ever even looked their way, because they probably weren't we he expected them to be.
Probably because they were busy thinking instead of just playing.

Unless Boutte is a Problem Child, I don't get it...at all.

I don't quite see what you and Bakes do in Harris. I like him but I don't see what his super power is. But can we put that yards per route run stat in some context please. He put up those numbers against the likes of Furman, Middle Tennessee State and Georgia Southern before getting injured when the schedule started getting tough. It's not a fair comparison to those other WRs.

I'm not saying this to dis Harris, just that the "massive gap" in that Y/RR is somewhat misleading.

Hit on a receiver at 38 and the Pats are in business. We still need some help on the edge but OT/WR have been the greatest hindrances to this team for years.

Some really good players available

Will Johnson CB

T. Henderson RB

M. Green Edge

Jayden Higgins WR

Mason Taylor TE

Grey Zabel OL

Q.Judkins RB
zabel is long gone

Why would we draft a T who has nowhere to play?

I do not see it either and Lane Kiffins offense seems kinda gimmicky.

I assume it's because we tied with whoever....and a coin was flipped.
But wouldn't whatever tie breaker gave us the fourth in the first apply to subsequent rounds?

As far as I know, it's reversed after the first...I think. (Someone is welcome to fact check me...this is going on decades old memories from reading the old media guides.)

Mocking the pre-Patriots picks for round 2

33. Cleveland - Shedeur Sanders
34. Houston - Luther Burden
35. Tennessee - Mike Green
36. Cleveland - Will Johnson
37. LV - Trey Amos
38. Patriots are on the clock.

Edge - Ezeiruaku, Scourton
WR - Higgins, Bech, Noel, Williams
TE - Mason Taylor
SAF - Xavier Watts, Emmanwori
DT - Darius Alexander
RB - Treveyon Henderson

Unless there's someone they love, trading back makes sense.

We need a FS, a REAL FS, pretty badly IMHO.
I Know we got a Safety in FA, But I would like a young talented student.
McCourtey wasn't appreciated enough, we hardly ever had to worry about it.

I think he's fine, but what do you hang your hat on? He's not particularly fast, he's not particularly big and with that offense, he's not a proven route runner. I wouldn't complain if we drafted him but I see him more as a late day two/day three guy.

For me its because Booty, Polk, Pop and Baker are all young and had really bad coaching last year. I do not think that AVP and the WR coaches did a very good job teaching the offense to the WRs (we saw a lot of wrong routes). Maye also did not have much time to throw the ball behind Lowe-Olayden -Robinson- Brown- Owenu -Jacobs. That should be improved this year, there should not be 5 step dropbacks out of the gun anymore and that alone will help the OL.

Josh is a very good teacher, at least has been said by several players. Todd Downing has never coached WRs but has been an OC where he had to teach players and coaches. Thomas Brown is the PGC/TE coach and he has experience teaching as well, so I am giving all of the WRs a pass on their ****ty seasons.

Devin ran 22+ MPH, he was clocked on tape during a play.
IOW, he was one of the fastest guys in the league, even though some people bashed him.
I'd like a smart Fast/Smart guy back there if at all possible.
FS is a need...he won't help Fantasy Football Assholes though, so that'll be a problem here.
