You gotta think any team that had a head coach remotely on the hot seat didn't want to touch Sanders with a ten foot pole. Deion would always be waiting in the wings to take over whatever team his son is on.

Now Sanders is at the point he could be drafted by a team with an established starter and he is doomed to be QB2 for awhile if not his entire rookie contract.

The man survived his threat of if Jimmy Clausen wasn't a successful NFL QB within seven years of being drafted, he would retire. I think he will survive this.
