Saw a 5th round grade on Woodson. Reach?

I see a lot of teams reach on day 3 early. I don't like it... I don't think you look to 'reach' in round 4 till the compensatory picks come around. That to me is the reach area in most drafts. It was still a bit too early with too many solid prospects to swing for the fences on higher risk guys.

Don't know much about him, but it seems he lined up mostly at FS. Hybrid player I guess.

I read some people had him as high as 90th which would give him a 3rd round grade. I don’t consider him a reach.

Woodson is a three-year starter with good size and speed. He can turn and run and can cover a deep half. He reads the receiver and then gets his eyes on the quarterback in off-coverage over the slot. He intercepted five passes over the past three seasons and catches the ball well for a player with small hands. Woodson is quick, fills gaps and wraps up when he lines up at linebacker depth. -- Steve Muench

I didn't think he was too big of a reach. I saw this as a 4th rounder.

Anyone questioning a 4th round pick and calling it a reach is absolutely hilarious. Just because it doesn’t matchup to and NFL draft magazine you bought at the local Borders books doesn’t make it a reach. Good lord get a grip.
