I said Brissett Sucked before Even this and was looked at like this. I am going to say it now AVP Sucks too misery loves company.

Man what a lineup…..honestly I think Cam at the stage of his career that he was in while playing here was the Worst of the four…..he couldn’t throw anymore and teams KNEW that….he also couldn’t run/escape that well either….very sad and frustrating watching him here

this will be a 3 year rebuild st minimum

IDK, this can be a faster rebuild depending how good Maye is and what they do next offseason. This team with a real QB and a rebuilt o-line with some of the defensive starters coming back from injury like Barmore and Bentley can be turned around fairly quickly if Maye is the real deal with the high picks and the money the Pats have next offseason. No guarantees, but it is possible.

Look, you've got two options to get that kind of talent when you have no O-line and an unproven rookie QB. You draft it or you overpay for it.

A couple months later, my dad and I went to what may be the greatest game of all-time- The Snow Bowl

Since then, I’ve been to countless Patriots pre season, regular season, and playoff games.

I’ve traveled to Buffalo, Indianapolis, Houston, Arizona, and Los Angeles to watch Patriots games

I’ve brought my Southern California born-and-bred wife to the coldest regular season in Patriots history.

I’ve flown cross-country from LA to attend Brady’s return with the Bucs.

When I moved to LA in 2015, I attended Patriot watch parties nearly weekly in some dingy-LA bar.

Since moving to Dallas a year ago, I’ve done the same

I truly feel at this point I am DONE. I absolutely despise what Bob Kraft, Jonathan Kraft, and that snake Mayo have done to this team. Sadly even the rare, positive big play brings me no joy like they even did over the last four mediocre years.

Pretty sure I’m just going to start rooting for whoever Belichick coaches next year. Living in Dallas, I have my fingers crossed for the Cowboys

My first game was in 1972. Jim Plunkett was their QB and we totally sucked.
But I stuck with them because they were our team. There was no team picking. We were from Boston and the Patriots were OUR team
We made it to a SB in 1986 and 1997. But I went through many bad years.
When we finally won and became the best franchise ever. It made all the suffering and made being a champ that much more sweeter.

You have not even seen many lean years and your jumping ship.
There is a lot to say about loyalty. It builds character

Now I know you are only kidding and will be so happy you stayed a Pats fan when our next dynasty begins.
That was funny about the Dallas thing since they have nit one a SB in 27 years

That wasn't the point. He's been awful so far this season and the Pats don't have the QB, OL or OC to make him effective. He's not a guy that can do it on his own.

This is a complete disaster, the Krafts have jacked this up, the coaching is literally the worst in the league. Whomever thought that Mayo and crew could do this is an idiot. Now I know the krafts were not smart in 2000 they were lucky not good. This will be another 20 years if crap like the 70’s and 80’s might as well add the 90’s. Ya’ll complained about drafting, coaching and playing the last few years but this is Rod Rust all over again. I understand a rebuild but this far beyond that as it is complete incompetence on all levels.

Bedard warned in the preseason that he was concerned about Brissett's processing speed on plays. Unfortunately he was right. Brissett is not a guy you want behind a disaster of an o-line. He didn't have time for even a fast processing QB on a lot of plays, but he did on others and missed a lot of wide open receivers. I am wondering if the Pats would have been better off getting a guy like Tannehill over Brissett. Tannehill ain't great either, but he isn't as bad as Brissett in this situation.

All that said, I still am against rushing Maye into the starting line up. If the o-line is as bad as it was today, there is little benefit to him being out there and he is as much as a risk of regressing as learning in a situation like this.

The ball has to come out faster, as Ted Johnson was saying tonight. Part of the reason the OL looks so bad is Jacoby is taking too long to throw it, on every play. That may be because he processes slowly, maybe he's too cautious, maybe it's the play designs or play calls. But whatever it is, throw the ball sooner on many more pass plays.

Or the team is just untalented and this was always going to take awhile. Bill Belichick's first year was a mess as well and a huge downgrade compared to the prior year. Mayo is starting at an even worse point. It's near impossible to judge him based off this starting point. You don't even have the base of Parcell's guys. You have a base of the piece of **** we built over the last 10 years when we drafted horribly and let Bill make every stupid decision he wanted.

The fact that we aren't winless right now is already better than what should have been expected. We weren't favored to win any of the games we played so far. Hell we shouldn't have even been within 2 scores mid 4th quarter in this game. It's a bad team.
