As far as the worst teams in the league, that ****'s gotta stop. Worst offense, yes. But this isn't the Rod Rust Patriots and it's sure as eff not the Jete. Players will go where the money is.

Cousin, I like your train of thought. I mentioned K.J. Osborne WR who was an integral part of the Vikes and only 26, but two more FA sleepers:

DT DJ Reader form the Bengals who has been superb for them. Maybe a good discount because he hurt his quad in game 15. I see him as a Lawrence Guy replacement and 3 years younger. We need someone to go with Barmore.

Another possible Guy replacement would be Arik Armstead who refused to take a pay cut and was let go by the Niners. He has great size and can push the pocket. He had six sacks last season.

Another CB would be nice like T White........Or how about Xavien Howard?

Trade scenarios still exist with Tee Higgins and Sneed.
I think Fields will be cheaper now.....why not. He is still cheap in 2024. Still Draft a QB who won't be ready for a few years. Have Brissett as your back up and start Fields. Would you throw a 4th for him?

Great post on the DT to replace Guy. We need one.

T White had a ACL tear followed by an Achilles tear, so he migh be done (the achilles can be bad). Xavein Howard is older and fell off the last two years so he does not project well either.

Didn't see the terms posted elsewhere yet - looks like the cap hits are very low here, maybe $3M total between the two of them. I estimate they probably still have around $55-60M in cap space currently after all signings, though can't say for sure since some contracts (Onwenu, Bourne) have not come out yet.

I served with one who got a reenlistment bonus, who went out that night to a strip joint and was giving $100 tips to the strippers.

He was a very popular guy,

That reminds me of the time a friend of mine's son got us thrown out of a strip club in Miami. Not a military buddy, but a good friend.

Kids getting lap dances all night from the same stripper. At one point a few hours in he disappears. Now he is a loner type. Don't think he's ever had a real girlfriend is around 27 at the time and still lived at home.

Not long after we noticed he was gone the waitress comes over and says we have to leave. Management wants us gone. Please come sign the tab. I question it, asking what did we do? Still wondering why we had to leave, I simply agree and we walk outside. We ask him what the hell man, why would you do that. He's like I didn't know I had to pay. I thought she liked me, I mean she's been (age appropriate language) "dancing on my lap" all night.
