The Australian Football League has a Father-Son (and for AFLW Father-Daughter) rule stipulating if the father played a certain number of games for the team, they have first rights on matching any draft offer a competing team (awarded draft compensation) makes for that son/daughter. It's a nice way to keep family connections to one team.Gotta love that pick for the Steelers. Father and son, legacy united. Really is a beautiful moment.
