Official 2022 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

I would agree that this applies for a few games this season.

But not this one. He turned it over 4 straight times. I mean... that just can't happen.
I missed portions of the game, and only saw that handoff fumble (that's bad, but not something I've ever seen him do) and the last INT which was largely from being hit while he threw. I saw a replay of the earlier sack fumble -- he's usually good at holding on to the ball during big hits.

Just a perfect storm of bad luck and pressure creating those fumbles.

Still a game up in the division lmfao what a joke.

The decision to get rid of Arians was just...head scratching.

Might be Brady's worst game in his career. I don't know. Jets in 2010 playoffs? 01 against Denver?

I had to dig deep to see if he has ever played that poorly.

I've accepted this one as a loss. I think the Bengals will have their way with the Bucs defense. I'm just hoping the Bucs offense can finally get something going, probably playing from behind. And Cincinnati's pass defense isn't that great. It would be nice if Brady could get a 300 yard, 3 TD game under his belt (similar to the KC game) heading into the final three very winnable matchups. The Bucs might be in second place after the weekend if the Panthers can beat the Steelers. Ugly season.
At least Brady got his first 300 yard 3 TD game of the season. Now if only he can do it again without the fumbles and interceptions.

This was actually a pretty good loss. The Bucs in the 1st half looked like the 2020 and 2021 Bucs.

2nd half was a whole bunch of things. Brady was a big part of the meltdown but there was also a lot of blame to go around, plus some bad luck, and one sided officiating again.

I mean you aren't a Pats fan so fine you're forgiven but Brady has had FAR worse games. I mean, ************ dude. He's actually had bigger blown leads in both the regular season AND post season. In 2011 in Buffalo he blew a 21-0 lead and thew 5 picks. In the 2006 AFCCG...well... 21-3. 21-3.

I didn't really watch much of the game (watching the Patriots debacle instead). But it seems like the Bucs totally collapsed in the second half. Brady's numbers look ok but the 4 turnovers are ugly. I'll watch the game at some point to see how it actually went down.

They have three cupcakes in a row now and SHOULD finish 9-8.

I looked at this...

He was not one of the main reasons they lost that AFC Title game. There was some suspect calls at best going against NE. Not to mention receivers not making catches.

I guess the Buffalo one would qualify.

Regardless, I see no way he returns to TB. In fact, maybe he decides to retire.

He has nothing to prove. His legacy is set in stone.

And nobody will care he had one losing season.

7 SB wins/10 trips with 5 SB MVP's & 3 NFL MVP's.

No team is a cupcake to this Bucs team. I can see them losing to Carolina.

Bucs are a bad team. Like Carolina and Atlanta.

The important thing to me was Brady didn't look washed up like he did vs San Fran. He looked pretty good but mostly it was bad execution, bad luck, and bad decisions.

One interception was cause by getting hit while throwing it. He was under pressure so the better decision was to take the sack.

Another interception seemed like a poor throw, but it was also a good play by the defender, and also looked liked poor route running by the receiver. Not sure I can put all the blame on Brady on this throw.

One fumble got punched out while being sacked. Sit happens.

Another fumble was a poor exchange between Brady and Fournette. Shared blame there.

Bowles also made a bad call on the fake punt. But Bernard not being ready was a travesty. This is on par with what happened at the end of the Pats game.

But overall, Brady looked good.

Bucs won't lose to Carolina or Atlanta.

I mean, I predicted the Bucs to lose today! Same with the 49ers game! I just didn't expect a choke job. But i expected them to lose. And so I still expect them to win against those worse teams because literally nothing has changed for me.

Losing any of the next three should result in the immediate firing of Bowles. ARI, CAR and ATL are really, really bad teams. No excuses allowed.

Everything that could go wrong went wrong for Brady in the 2nd half. But his throws were good and this was supposed to be a L anyways.

Too many things go wrong with the Bucs. If they win 2 or 3, that's an achievement and will be good enough for a playoff spot.

Whoa watching a post game podcast right now and a bucs insider puts it at 60% Jensen plays the last game says Jensen was snapping balls to Brady pregame and didn’t look like he had a brace on, getting Jensen/Wirfs back for the playoffs is absolutely huge

Go down swinging.

Also why did dumbass leftwhich go back to running on every first down, Lenny over white, Brate over Otton

He has shown all year that he can't help himself from going back to what's not working
