Official 2022 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

They tried to suck him off but ran into the back of Chris Simm's head.
Hahaha to be fair to the McAfee show it seems they are good friends so makes sense to back your boy up. Simms just a fan boy

I am not sure that in all of the years Chris Simms has put out a preseason QB rankings list that he has ever had Brady in the top 5.

He cant because he is the biggest Rodgers fan boy. His entire QB rankings are always a joke.

Aaron Rodgers is the present day Peyton Manning.

Aaron Rodgers is the present day Peyton Manning.

No, because Manning got to 4 Super Bowls.

Rodgers is closer to the present day Favre but with one fewer Super Bowl appearance. Favre left the Packers after 11 years of not winning a second Super Bowl. Rodgers is now going on year 12.

He is not close to Manning IMO. Manning reached 4 Bowls and won 2 even if he was carried to the second one. The other thing is Manning was always trying to win. You could feel his intensity. He just got tight in playoff games. Rodgers just doesn't care. He wants his stats.

I will never understand the Rodgers love. His talent is so good yet his leadership and competitiveness are Jay Cutler level.
His talent is overrated, and that's where it all starts. And I'm not saying that he doesn't have the physical skills at the highest level. I'm saying that his mental game is a bigger limit to his physical game than most people acknowledge.

I agree. It's lazy analysis. When you evaluate talent of a QB how can you separate the physical tools from the mental? It is the most cerebral position in all of sports. Arm talent means little of the mental skills are not there.

Yeah. I thought Jeff George had made that point indisputable more than 30 years ago, but we seem to be back to stage one of the learning process.

Interesting. Must be preventive.

Unlike Erin, who had two ribs removed so he can suck his own co_ck.

He's toast

Seven-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Julio Jones is signing a one-year deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, per source. The soon-to-be 45-year Tom Brady now will have a chance to throw to the 33-year-old Jones.

Julio Jones drew interest from, amongst others, the Green Bay Packers and Buccaneers. But Tampa was the most aggressive in giving its QB a new offensive weapon.

Julio Jones now wants to try to win a Super Bowl with the man who prevented him from winning one.

I would have bet OBJ, but the two blown knees + the money probably made the Julio signing the no-brainer move.
