Official 2022 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

Probably wishcasting but considering Miami is now absolutely off the table, the 49ers are almost surely gonna sink or swim with Lance, and frankly Vegas is a dumpster fire, this might be the only logical place to keep playing. Which I support because the fit is fine here talent wise if the coaching hierarchy can be figured the hell out.

Seems crazy to build a team like the Niners with all those veterans in their prime and again choose someone over Tom Brady. I don't know why anyone honestly thinks Brady would go to the Raiders...just because of Josh? No way.

The first issue I see is that next year is the year the Bucs will have to make big cap adjustments, and Brady might want to see what the team is going to look like before he re-signs.

Waller/Renfrow/Adams/Jacobs would be a pretty good start, though, in terms of enticement.

Raiders are a good team on paper and they've lost a bunch of close ones. Josh and Brady would be comfortable with each other and the owner is a big Brady fan. It's a very good fit.

The niners, all they want is someone who can run bootlegs and rpos. Being able to throw well is not a requirement.

The Bucs will make it work and give the team Brady wants next season, but only if they have a strong finish.

Brady's got to make them believe that he still has it for next year, otherwise the Bucs may not go all in.

"A source close to the team told Kaufman they feel like Brady has more in the tank for playing longer in his career,.."

Nice to have a faith from the franchise. I was hearing a different story coming from Pats coaches 4 long years ago about wanting to go year to year.

Ya I don’t get why people think they’ll just roll out Lance like he didn’t look like utter garbage in practice and when he played. They’re the favorites in the NFC with Brady at helm they won’t make that mistake again

They spent 3 first round picks on him. Sunk cost fallacy is real.

Lamar Jackson might be a good fit.

I see little to no decline in Brady. His arm, his movement, his decisions seem as good as ever. They will need to really sure up on the Oline and figure out the TE position as well.

Just look at today’s game to see everything that Kraft exchanged Brady for. In all its glory.

To be fair, though, It's not a Brady/Jones thing that's happened with the offensive coaching and scheme.

But that’s the point, Kraft chose Belichick and his coaching and executive skills over Brady. Well, here it is Belichick with a blank check on how he wants to run the team.

I hear you. I just don't want Jones to be scapegoated when he's having to deal with all the nonsense.

Do people still see Philadelphia and Minnesota as some scary teams vs Tampa?

Oh my god I literally cannot handle the fans trumpeting today’s game as a good win. Jesus C.hrist Kraft really has roped in a bunch of suckers and won’t ever need to change anything.

I have a strange feeling that Tom and Bill reunite for a curtain call.
