Re: Official 2007 NFL Draft 1st Round Discussion

I am happy the pats didn't screw the pooch...taking Olsen or an OL or something or a WR.

I wished they could pick up some more picks...not drafting again until #91...that hurts.

Oh well, they could screw the pooch on #28. By taking any of the above. Hopefully they'll trade down 10 spots, pick harris and pick up a #4 pick.

Meriweather will be good. Great playing speed and good attitude and effort on the field.

Re: Official 2007 Patriots Draft Thread

David Martin or Chris Houston at #28?

Allan Branch is the highest rated.

My guess would be Houston, but I'm on a 0-fer run...

Please god let the saints take olsen and the patriots either grab houston or trade down if not we'll let houston fall right in the colts lap

Re: Official 2007 Patriots Draft Thread

BTW seb, do you know why we picked him at #24 instead of later @ 28?

Eagles, and the Cowboys might have taken him by trading back into round 1. The Cowboys have liked Meriweather for awhile, but Cleveland gave them to much to turn their offer down.

didnt u hear? if avaible..Harris is our guy

if Saints take Harris..i have a feeling we go with Meachem..yes..strange and hopefully not

Re: Official 2007 NFL Draft 1st Round Discussion

Well, at 28, we'll have a shot at either Harris or Houston. I'd be very happy with either.

Still can't believe the Dolphins took Ginn at #9 btw. What a shocker.

Re: Official 2007 Patriots Draft Thread

I hope NO takes Harris. That would make #28 a huge mystery (which I need at this point).

Re: Official 2007 NFL Draft 1st Round Discussion

I think we go with Staley.

Re: Official 2007 NFL Draft 1st Round Discussion

Saints select Robert Meachem

Re: Official 2007 NFL Draft 1st Round Discussion

Yes, Meachem

Re: Official 2007 NFL Draft 1st Round Discussion

alot of players to choose from, my gut says Staley

Re: Official 2007 NFL Draft 1st Round Discussion

WOW.

And..

DAMN, OLSEN is still there.

Re: Official 2007 NFL Draft 1st Round Discussion

It has to be houston or Harris.

Re: Official 2007 NFL Draft 1st Round Discussion

Yes! David Harris, bring it home Beoli. No Branch, no Olsen. It's all about Harris. Houston or Woodley would also be acceptable, but Harris is the man.

Re: Official 2007 Patriots Draft Thread

Harris almost seems too obvious here...Staley?

Re: Official 2007 NFL Draft 1st Round Discussion

The cowboys played the draft masterfully basically trading a 3rd and 5th this year for a next year possibly top ten pick.
