Corrupt dimwit Commissioner Scheisskopf tries to take down BB and the Patriots but instead makes them more sympathetic to the haters. Even the naysayers are forced to admit not only that BB is the best in the business but also that he continues to improve as a coach.

Nothing else to see here. The guy loves his job. Why would he do anything else?

Nope. No way. Where else but New England could Belichick ever reside? Everyplace else in the US people would hate him. They wouldn't tolerate his attitude. For New Englanders, rudeness is endearing. It has a frank honesty to it that we tend to honor. He is accepted here. Completely.

If he moved, he knows he'd have to start all over again from scratch building a franchise for himself. Do you really think he could stand having to go through that again? Nope. This is where he has made his home. I can't see Belichick ever coaching outside New England.

And as for retiring, well, that could happen any time I suppose. But I don't think you drag Dante back into your fold just to bail on him.

Brady to player coach in a Red Aucherbach esque move.

My opinion is worth no more than anybody else's out here on that possibility, since I don't know TB at all, but that's not a move that I see coming.

I think Brady will do something entrepreneurial about which he is passionate, perhaps in partnership with Gisele, who is already a Global Brand in her own right, but I don't see him putting in 20 hour days and sleeping on a cot in Foxboro with a nine figure net worth...you might be right, but I don't see it.

I wouldn't dream of trying to guess what Belichick is going to do or when he is going to do it, but I do know that the whole Deflategate thing blew up in Goodell's face.

The fools at 345 Park Avenue only avoided a total catastrophe when Garoppolo went down since he didn't have a chance to cement himself as worth two first rounders and the Patriots didn't go 4--0...but it was about as close to a catastrophe as you can get for them: the Pats are at the top of their division, only looking up to one team in the Conference and getting back Brady with four weeks less wear and tear on his body going into the rest of the season.
