OBJ to Pats—what do we think?

I would give up pick 32 in a heartbeat.
I would definitely give up pick #32. For sure.

No other high round picks, though.

Check out @TheHerd’s Tweet:

PLEASE let this be true!! Makes A LOT of sense for us to still remain aggressive to make a trade for OBJ

Mara will probably never okay the trade simply out of spite for the Pats. The thought of OBJ with Brady is probably the stuff of nightmares for him.

Most likely the main reason why he didn’t deal him, last year.

We don't know that the Patriots tried to get OBJ last year/summer do we? Isn't that rumor?

I’m just speaking to the general rumor that both NE and LA were interested, but yes—we don’t know for certain.

When can the trade officially go down?

Since Flacco is officially going to Denver in Principal.
Trades can be negotiated and announced immediately.

And even if we wanted OBJ last year, Bill may not want him THIS year.

OBJ is a bit emotional, but he's not the social media obsessed, narcissistic locker room cancer that he's sometimes portrayed as. He's no AB in that respect. He is extremely driven, wants to win and from all reports his teammates love him.

And he loves Tom Brady.

I love Tom Brady too. Can I sign?

Hard to sell that.
We are much weaker at receiver this year.
I think the point there would be that instead of having one year left on his deal he’s got a new contract to take on.

When can the trade officially go down?
Likely after June since the Giants would save a lot of cap should they do that.

To paraphrase an old expression, "There is no 'OBJ' in 'Team.'"

Imagine trading Beckham and keeping Eli. What happens when your team's personnel department is run by trust fund babies.
It's absolutely asinine. This is Randy Moss all over again when his time was done in Minne.
This is why I crack up when some think you have be anointed or knighted by Paul Brown & Belichick to work in football.

A team that has made sh it decision after sh it decision. Soldier contract, OV contract, Eli, OL failures for years. I could go on & on.

Love to see him land in Cleveland somehow.
