You’re factually incorrect. Sidy Sow last played LT as a freshman in 2018!

Five bleepin years ago. A long, long time ago.

Here, check for yourself:

I'm still not buying that either Double-S or Strange69 will be converted to LT... If the process doesn't begin for one of them during OTAs, then it's not happening at all.

I also still prefer that the starting LT of my NFL team was the starting LT of his college team.

How Ray Agnew of you.

I wonder how many people know of the historical reference.

Ask a young person which US president said “The only thing we have to fear is fear itself”?

It’s very depressing. Gusto is not taught anymore.
Ask which President proclaimed “I am not a crook”?

Bonus points for identifying the unique distinction he and his first VP share, to tie this comment back to Spiro Agnew.

way to really disguise the answer....

I agree with Captain Stone 98 percent of the time. He thinks Ty Montgomery will be a no factor this season. I still have hope he can be that coveted third down back we desperately need in this offense.
Ty Montgomery is nothing special if a guy like P Strong can't beat him out then we have problems. Rham is a all purpose RB that needs to be spelled every once in a while. I would still prefer Rham on Third Downs he's a legitimate threat to the Defense.

Exactly right! It was encouraging to hear that Mac was working with BOB and offensive staff to revamp the playbook during the off season. It's just so frustrating that we had to endure last season as it did absolutely nothing for Mac or the organization.
There might be one silver lining: Mac was humbled and thrown into a fire pit. Now he's got his back to the wall and is apparently responding with an absolute desire to prove that last year wasn't his fault. The kid needed to grow up - that was obvious from his first press conference. Adversity builds or it breaks.

It'll be interesting to see what Mac Jones really has to offer, and this year will make it all perfectly clear, barring injury.

We don't know anything about Pierre Strong at this point. There is no "if a guy like" for someone who touched the ball all of 17 times in his first year on the Pats (which is about right for that team for any rookie RB not named Sony Michel or Rhamondre Stevenson).

Strong was drafted lower than expected, by the way, and his athleticism is top-tier (sub 4 40). I'm not counting him out yet at all.

Valid points, But looking at it in retrospect. Mac was praised as a rookie for his attitude, his mental toughness, his accountability his work ethics and his maturity. Those are all things he already possessed and sure all young guys have to learn and adapt to the NFL. BB likely felt after his rookie season Mac could handle more on his plate. Wich ultimately lead into problems last season.

In the beginning we could see Mac was cautiously optimistic about the offensive change. Then camp came around, No one on offense ever bought in and that didn't do anything to help the situation.

With some structure on offense, decent personnel, and elite defense improved special teams. Mac has enough support around him to succeed wich I expect him too!

On his College tape P Strong has breakaway speed and can catch some. The Patriots usually give young RB's a year to get it going I am expecting Big things from P Strong in year two. Also that FA RB we picked up James Robinson seems pretty accomplished he was pretty solid on some bad Jags Teams. That said we are pretty Strong @ RB no pun indented.

Our RB group in my opinion gets over looked.. Kevin Harris and Strong Jr. Showed some serious change up ability in limited time last season.

They both project to have far bigger roles this season. Robinson, rham, are the bruisers.. I believe ty Montgomery will be the odd man out. Really high on the Robinson pick up.. he can spell rham so he's not gassed down the stretch.

So far in the 17 game era the Pats have YET to have 9 home games. And its going to be ANOTHER 2 years before we have a shot at it. Just sayin', Roger
In 2021 they had nine home games.

Harris is a bruiser. I think Robinson and Strong will be catching the ball (if Robinson's fully recovered.).

Yes correct your right I meant K. Harris.. but yeah Robinson got a nice contract so he was brought in to play.. rham is still the featured back.. I'm glad we have some depth.. I don't rham so worn down like he said he was after least season..

While Sow didn't START any games at LT in the last couple of years, how many times did he take snaps there? How do you know he didn't take snaps there in practice? You can't tell me because that Bio Page doesn't mention it.

Linking to a Bio Page that doesn't say where he took snaps for 3 of the 6 years isn't the win you think it is..

How do you know he did?

How do you know he did?
I don't. And neither do you or State. That's my point. *SMH* That's why his using the BIO is erroneous. Woulda thought that it was obvious..

I think everyone should get a mulligan for last year including troy. But alot at stake this year and next. For the most part i just want bb to accept his failures last year and realize the guys that ‘acted out’ maybe were right about alot of things? Move on, Start with a clean slate and see what we can do with this year’s additions. If any of last years drama spills over into this year itll just be more wasted time.
Isn't that what we always expected from Bill and received in the past? It was always a part of his new season approach each year.

Mainly referring to those reports that came out about him still being pissed at mac for going outside for advice. Bout time to move on from that and focus on 2023.

The problem is you can't prove Troy Brown sucked in 2019, 2020 and 2021.

You can be a great worker but if you have a idiot boss who has you focusing on the wrong things and undermines your role then who needs to go?
The Pats have been in the virus and clown coaching years since Brady left so it's really difficult to get an accurate feel for anything.

It's funny but when I see Troy Brown (my favorite player) being talked down I get a better sense for how the guys feel when I tell them that the AT&T girl actually has a fat ass and thunder thighs.

Right. Maybe that's why it feels different now.

Body shaming AT&T Lily is sacrilegious.
