N'Keal Harry's Production

This is the perfect "get right/on track" secondary to go against. Ideal as a rookie imo.

Their susceptible to doubles, inside release, can be beat deep, will do dumbass **** like give you a cushion on the 1 yard line.

Reiss' weekly Sunday write up has some comments from Malcom Mitchell on the difficulties that Harry might be going through. Really good stuff that everyone should check out.

Here is a short excerpt of him talking about earning Brady's trust with some emphasis:

"It took months, and it took some tough, constructive criticism from him, and from coaches. I had to embrace it and say, 'I won't allow it to happen again. No repeat errors.' The thing I would tell [Harry] is consistency in everything you do, and I promise you the opportunities will come. Don't worry about today; I remember my rookie season, the first six games, I didn't do anything. It wasn't until I earned that trust, through constant repetition and execution of plays in practice, that I started to get those opportunities."

Malcolm Mitchell: Patriots rookie WR N'Keal Harry needs thick skin to thrive

I think it is important to keep all of this in mind no matter how Harry will do today. Don't overreact to big game from him but also don't overreact if he only gets a handful snaps.

Damn I loved that guy. Sucks his time was so short.

He's been hurt = we shouldn't target him?

I love getting people fired up but c'mon don't be a burper. Nothing wrong w questioning Bill once & a while but this **** gets old.
Yes, but he makes me feel good about myself.

Love Malcolm Mitchell. Love Mike Reiss. :D

Harry - 2 receptions on 5 targets.
Jacobi - 3 receptions on 4 targets.

“I think he continues to get better," Devin McCourty told WEEI's Dale & Keefe program last week. "One of the things he does a really good job of is playing hard in practice. He at times, he pisses off the DBs because he works his butt off — out there blocking, out there getting open. I think that is the good thing about seeing him out there running around."

If he gets like 5-6 attempts, that would be because the pats are struggling. This O rubs through Jules and White. Sanu is next and Harry is way down the list.

I would think what the Philly defense does will have a little bit to do with it as well. There are 11 other guys on the field and an opposing coach which helps dictate the flow and approach to the offensive play calling as it unfolds.

They could decide to double JE (or even triple him like Baltimore did) and look to plant White every play (the Marshall (Faulk) Plan) or make him stay in to block by sending an overload blitz to the LT side especially. That means more looks for Sanu, Harry, Meyers or even Watson/LaCosse.

Predictions are tough in as complex a system as a football game. It's why casinos rake in billions every year cashing in on people that think they can decipher that complexity predictively with accuracy.

4 targets
2 catches
12 yards

Should have a competition. 5 points for every catch you're off. 1 point for every yard. Lowest score wins.

6 catches 119 yards is my guess!
Go Harry! Go Patsies!

Brady will toss him a few to get him into the swing of it but let’s face it. He is going to zero in on Edelman and Sanu.

Philthy's run defense is no joke, while our run offense is one...Play-action will Not work today, so the OL will have to pass-block by winning 1-on-1 vs the waves of DLmen that they can send (they have about 10 of them)...don't know if Brady will have any time at all to wait for middle/middle-deep routes to emerge...the RBs will catch more passes than the WRs will today.

That seeringly personal video of him a few months back was painful to watch. Dark times for the young man. Great kid, and I'm pulling for him.

I'm curious why won't our PA work Capt?

He's not blazing fast but can box out like a power forward. Some Michael Irvin potential.... I hope .
