This has an opening post with good commentary and information, which we definitely recommend reading.

Yeah, sorry Moosekill, but this argument is very weak

Cam is an NFL QB. there are other NFL QBs out there throwing the rock to NFL WRs

To compare those similar individuals is only natural. Rational thinking always uses something as a comparison, even inconsciously, so we can determine what is good, bad or whatever in between

If we cant compare Harry to other WRs drafted in the same class as him, if we cant complain that he's been underwhelming, we might as well cancel sports altogether cause rivalry is foundation of it all.
Complaining about players and over analyzing every aspect of a team coach and gm isn’t necessary to have sports. 99.9% of sports fans could not give a crap about that. It’s the 20-some people who whine about this stuff on this board that it’s a necessity for.
But to play along Newton had completed 190 passes. Ben roethlisberger has completed 324 so no you can’t compare receiver stats without considering the win and the system.

there is one thing that's better................the perpetual b1tch............ you have the right to whine, and I have the right to call yo a whiner because of it......you can put me on ignore if you like.........don't get too defensive though.....you probably can't help it
So then we can keep going back in forth all day. In this thread that you don't like. Sounds fun.

word it whatever way you like........you know I'm right

Yeah, maybe this year N'keal is being hindered by Cam. Last year maybe it was the playbook or injuries. You are right that we cant judge a WR without looking at their QB and system... But

Maybe Harry just isnt NFL material

Real judgement will only come when he breaks out or when he's out of the league. So far, he's closer to the latter than the former, but that's just my opinion. Im still hoping he can click, but Im not going to go out of my way to defend a guy who is lackluster when i see him play and is one of the the worst WRs drafted in 2019.

Again, Im not flat out saying that he sucks, but if you were to ask me where will N'keal be playing in 5 years, my answer today is: with his kid in the backyard

Reading these chicken little posts this year it is tempting. I swear the iq on the board is the same as the temperature outside.
The team is .500 and is currently, in December, looking up at two teams in the division. We have maybe the second-from-worst starting QB in said division. I’m not sure why you’d expect nothing but glowing praise. That we’re even .500 is a minor miracle.

Harry is a bust no matter who is throwing him the ball. Plan and simple. He has lost snaps to two guys that are UDFA's. He can't contribute much even in the brief glimmers of hope in this passing game. He is a bad player and I wouldn't be shocked if he isn't around next year.
He's in the 2nd year of a cheap 4-year rookie contract (5th-year option will not be picked-up, obviously); so even ass-uming that all of Meyers, Bird & Gunner return for 2021, Bill would still have to acquire at least 2 more NFL-caliber receivers before Harry is bumped from the 53...Moncrief could be one of them, but he has seen most of his action on STs unfortunately...A rookie likely will be another candidate, but that track record...

I wouldn't be completely shocked if Harry isn't around next year, but I would still be surprised...and naturally very, Very disappointed...

I agree that it is a better than 50% chance he is back next year unless they make some major moves at receiver but if he has another up and down or bad camp next year and slides further down the depth chart I wouldn't be shocked if he was let go or traded away for a 7th round pick.

He still has the rest of his career in front of him. Anyone’s opinion about his career to date really has nothing to do with what he will do going forward. Many players have struggled early in their careers and become excellent players. There is no doubt he has the requisite skill set and the “excuses” of being injured as a rookie and in a 1974 high school offense this year line up as reasons that could cause a player to develop slowly. We can only wait and see.

I'm not the biggest fan of the separation stat as done by NFLNextGen, but it's the best we've got imho (538 has their own calc, but that's got limitations, too). Harry surprisingly has a separation avg of 3.0 for the year, which doesn't jive with our impressions. He'd be better than all our WRs last year (no Sanu as half with ATL)! We do have to include stuff like a swing pass in the Dolphins game where no one was within 8 yds. Even the Cam throws to his feet for swing pass incompletions in Houston counted in the calc, too. (In that game, Meyers got 5.7 and Harry 4.0).

I really want to call him a bust, but I'm not ready to yet. Hopefully he'll stay out of the injury report. Hopefully his QBs can be more accurate (includes most of Brady's games with him last year - he was 55% from when Harry started playing in Week 10). Considering the complexity of the playbook, 2 inaccurate qbs over the last 2 seasons with last year's being notorious for losing trust from the smallest screwup for newbies, and the lack of a chip on his shoulder for being picked at 15 versus 64 ($7.8mil guaranteed versus $1.8mil), I don't think Metcalf (7 drops last year and 7 this year so far - Harry strangely only has 2 official drops in his career?!) has anywhere near the same success that he's having in Sea (especially with Pumped and Jacked coddling versus Jerry Ballcatcher from Foxborough High tough love). Would I rather have DKM in retrospect? You gotta be beyond insane not to.

Avg Sep:

(Also, finally found the juicy bits for each game: NGS | NFL Next Gen Stats)

My guess is Harry is relatively slow compared to other receivers. I saw one report saying the avg receiver gets 3 yards separation, Harry only gets 0.9 yards separation. If the other site you found says Harry gets x, I bet other receivers are getting double that. Where does he rank relative to other avg receiver separation? It definitely doesn't look like even league average, he looks like the slowest receiver in the league.

I hope for Harry's sake he never lines up against Ramsey. Ramsey is a massive trash talker and that may destroy his ego.

The patriots would have a better record than the bucs if brady stayed here. Without a question.
I agree, but Brady would be miserable throwing to this current group and believed he'd have a better chance with a team like the Bucs. That was my initial point.

Bucs are trending in the wrong direction.

Brady is equally miserable there (although miserable is the wrong word).

Meh. So were we at this time in 2018. Of course, Brady has a coaching staff who fails to admit they’re wrong and learn from their mistakes, so who knows if they will have a similar result?

I'm not digging the "chuck and duck" offense either.
