Hmm, I think I heard the exact same thing about a week ago

Texans were saying the same thing. Ravens need to shut their mouths and be careful for what they wish for.

In out first match up we were missing 2 starting OL, missing Hernandez, didn't have Talib, still had Dmac at CB with Arrington as the other CB, third game for multiple starting rookies, replacement refs and Pats on the road.

That's a whole crap load of things going against the Pats. Since then we are a completely different team on both sides of the ball and much improved. Ravens on the other hand are banged up on defense and missing their best corner while playing on the road.

I like our chances.

A lot of things have changed since 31-30, and not just the real refs, so they are not as ready as they think they are.

-In our regular season meeting, the fast break offense had not yet been implemented. Thus they have not faced the one thing that our opponents seem to have the most difficulty with.

-No Talb, no Dennard in that game. Bigger corners to battle their physical guys for the ball

-No Hernandez in the first game, but no Gronk this time. OK, we may lose a little there.

-More settled O-line and D-line now for NE.

-in Foxboro now, vs. in Baltimore then

Others?

Have many things changed drastically for them?

What is that saying again? Be careful what you wish for?

One of my alltime favorite pictures, That was incredible.

The revenge factor will be overrated.

Their defense has gotten worse, I think.

I wanted baltimore, so it is mutual. They will be easier for the Patriots to beat than Denver. Shut down the deep ball on the right side, game over.

I thought so too, going into yesterday.

But seeing Denver's secondary unable to cover at all and seeing Manning throw wobbly ducks in the cold made me realize just how badly Denver's pathetic schedule inflated their seeding.

I's rather play in Foxboro, but Denver is not as good as they were hyped to be.

Baltimore is better that Denver but we are now at home, so it was pretty much a coin flip as to which was preferred.

Also, no Edelman this time - - 4 receptions and a TD. And we'll see how Woodhead and CJ are. I know their 2nd RB is banged up - - anyone else?

I wanted Baltimore, more for the home field advantage than that I wanted to play them again. Just didn't like the thought of playing in Denver for the AFCCG. I have a good feeling though that we are going to win this game. Brady has been on fire, for the most part, and I'm thinking he will want to erase the sub-par performance in last year's AFCCG if at all possible.

No Edelman this time - - he caught a TD in that game.

Was Welker still in the doghouse then, or had they started using him like they should have all along?

Their best corner is out for the year. Suggs looks terrible and Ray Lewis is looking old and slow.

Their defense and pass rush in general average. We are pretty much tied for sacks with them. Our rush defense is considerably better than their while their passing D is better but a lot of that is due to our opponents playing catchup.

We should be able to take advantage of their defense with an offense they didnt see last year or week 3 and our new D look should help shut them down.

We need to run an entire drive in fast break mode with Suggs and Ray Lewis both on the field. Can you imagine Ray Lewis trying to cover Hernandez, Vareen, Ridley, Wes, or even Hoo-man for about 10 plays in a row?

We need drives like the the one we had vs. Denver where they subbed out Von Miller and we ran hurry-up and wouldn't let him get back on the field, except that we would not be allowing the subs to get onto the field.

don't forget that ngata was almost completely shut down in the denver game

Patriots should be able to take advantage of two things: a pretty weak Ravens run defense that should especially struggle against smaller backs like Woodhead and shifty backs like Ridley; and the worst cover linebacker in the NFL (Ray Lewis.)

I wanted the Ravens over the Broncos.

Not because I think they're easier, but I'd rather have the Pats playing in Foxboro than flying to the west to play in the altitude of Mile High
