He's funny to us, but he didn't crack one smile during the press conference. He clearly hates press conferences and views the [IDIOTs in the] media with contempt.

Just had to correct you here.

BB doesnt respect guys who dont know how to do their own [CHOSEN] job professionally.

A new media guys who walks in the door (NH polit hack) and hasnt done his homework to figure out -how do I ask this guy (in this case, BB) a question, what is his background, what are the already known facts.... BB hangs the guy out to dry. FULLY DESERVED (IMHO).

We have all heard his responses when someone ASKS A GOOD QUESTION. ....he will go on for 5 minutes with examples from games in 1974, 65, and 38 for god's sake.

AND......If BB TRULY viewed ALL media w/ contempt, how exactly did: Patriot Reign, War Room, and The education of a coach get written by Holley and Halberstam???

I listened to it and it is truly fantastic. See, some people DO get BB. They were absolutely rolling over some of the answers.

He gave them access and let them gather data and then write their own books. It's not like he is ANYWHERE on the cover as the ghostwriter or had ANY say-so about what the final product contained. If anything the books - because they are FULL OF UNREHEARSED, UNSCRIPTED DATA are REAL WORLD and certainly NOT PUFF PIECES

AND of course press confs are different than books; but would Holley ever ask such a dumb-arse question in a PC?

Above all, The point I responded to was that there ARE MEDIA Guys BB respects. Now are you taking my point out of context to say that just because the media he respects wrote books instead of or in addition to newspaper/web crap to mean that: that DOESNT MAKE THEM MEMBERS OF THE MEDIA? That is just silly.
