Tebow's made 3 passes. One was a throw away, one was a deep ball thrown on the run that went off the receiver's hand, and one was a completed screen.

The one that touched the hand of the WR was because the WR stretched as much as he could and the throw away was not a throw away, that is an actual completion attempt.

It looked like the ball cut back in late, because both Troy and the receiver were off on that. But if the receiver had been running all out he would have caught it.

As Simms was saying, that's the problem with this emphasis on helmet "hits." They penalize you even if your hit starts chest high and your get the head as the opposing player goes down. Any helmet contact AT ALL gets penalized. So guys go low to avoid the fines now. It's not illegal, but it's dangerous (like the hit by Marchand yesterday .. which is illegal n the NHL). I think they need to look at the helmet rule and apply some sense. Can of worms they've opened, really.
