Dear Abigaile,
The General leading my men has not surprised me with his ineptness. He continues to be the nincompoop I've always thought he was. Thankfully, the ineptitude of the enemy has failed to capitalize on his mistakes. I hear word from my troops that many have abandoned the battle and fled for their lives. Most likely these troops got weary of being led by a dimwitted imbecile. I do not hold a grudge against those who abandoned the battle. If I were in the presence of such buffoonery, I might have abandoned the battle as well.
I can only hope the battle goes better from here on.
Yours truly,
General Andrew Luck
