Not a chanceBB would be pretty motivated to screw the Krafts which brings up a question.
Would McDaniels up and go to be the OC for BB? I say yes if he was asked.

We’ll see if Maye and Williams will gain any chemistry. Williams will have to be the deep threat we hoped he’d be. I’ve seen Williams open deep and Maye not look his way. Now without Boutte, Maye will have to look his way. Let’s see if Williams can take advantage, or if he falls by the wayside like Thornton/Polk/Baker.Agreed. With Boutte dealing with the hamstring. . The guy you'd want to see get involved and start making plays Is K. Williams.. Vrabel mentioned this yesterday about how he's going to have more opportunities now.. I believe that messaging right there.. is why he didn't go after Myers or bring in any other wr of note.
Williams wins off the line of scrimmage all the time. For most rookies that is the hardest thing to do. Drake has looked his way plentiful but they can't seem to connect. I truly hope he doesn't go the way of many wr bust before him...We’ll see if Maye and Williams will gain any chemistry. Williams will have to be the deep threat we hoped he’d be. KW got over 30 snaps last game his most to date; we'll see if that propels him. KW is supposed to be an X Receiver. We’ll see if Maye and Williams will gain any chemistry. Good question. I’m saying neither, there’s no blame to be ascribed. The sense I get is that the general feeling on the board is that Cowden walks on water while Wolf needs to walk the plank for past sins.
Just curious what people think about the dynamic when it comes to their roles in the trade process.
I think Josh is here for the remainder of his career barring him going after a 3rd chance at HC which who knows if he goes after.BB would be pretty motivated to screw the Krafts which brings up a question.

And as I told the guy behind me at the game, it seemed like they ran almost EVERYTIME Williams was on the field. Williams scares nobody, until he proves it. He has TWO catches, most receivers taken AFTER him have more than that, some even have more TD catches than Williams has catches. Let’s see if he can take advantage of his chances.KW got over 30 snaps last game his most to date we'll see if that propels him. KW is supposed to be an X Receiver.
To me that says Stretch is his gatekeeper, and holds their reins for Vrabes. From listening to Vrabel on weei he mentioned Cowden, stretch and Elliott do their due diligence and then bring it to his attention if there is a trade possibility.
Trust me I have noticed. That said you make a good point about him being in more on Running plays: Josh needs to dial up a Play action off that. The 2026 Draft looks Very Strong @ WR and we have Tons of picks. Gotta go to that well again. And as I told the guy behind me at the game, it seemed like they ran almost EVERYTIME Williams was on the field. Williams scares nobody, until he proves it. Yes, so we can’t take them for granted and create a trap game. Especially a concern playing a wounded rival on TNF.As long as 2 are losses against us...
He's better than Tanner Engstrand.I would.
Sort of like posts drooling over every WR in the leagueThis thread is becoming like that X that just won't go away...Shooo Fly.
True. Teams sometimes cut guys at the end of the season so they have a shot to catch on with a contender as well. I don’t think this is the last time the Pats will have an opportunity to add depth this year. There was not a single trade yesterday that made me think…”I wish the Patriots did that”.
Added onto the fact that the Jets didn’t want to trade in the division, the Titans owner is a hag that won’t trade with Vrabel, and the Dolphins wanted a 1st for a #2 WR. The options were thin.
I’d be fine with grabbing a WR high in 2026. One guy I loved prior to this college season is Nyck Harbor from South Carolina. He’s 6’5” 230, and runs a 4.2+ forty. That being said, he’s had a disappointing season so far, despite being tied for the team lead in catches, and leads the team in receiving yards and receiving TDs. QB LaNorris Sellers had been getting a lot of hype prior to the season, but has been even more disappointing than Harbor.Trust me I have noticed. it is just as much speculation to assume that there was even one trade that would’ve bolstered depth on the roster.Obviously we don't know what potential trades were on the table so it is all speculation, but it is speculation to assume there wasn't a single trade to be had that would have bolstered the depth on the roster either, especially given the cap room to add a mid tier player or two.
If the asking prices were just too high so be it. In Vrabes I trust. Just not blindly. (I'm not saying you have blind trust, btw).
Absolutely.. even when we were winning championships Jets always tended to give us some tough games.. over the years..Yes, so we can’t take them for granted and create a trap game. Especially a concern playing a wounded rival on TNF.
I hear you, but Meyers and Diggs are redundant players.Meh dude ? He averages 74 catches a year. The main job of a receiver is to catch the ball. He would’ve been a great addition for the Pats, especially since system wise, he would’ve been plug and play. I would’ve gladly given up a 4th & 6th. Obviously the Pats didn’t agree.
That being said, you don’t make a trade just to make a trade. If you feel you need something and it works for you (what you give up), you should do it. There were rumors that the Pats were trying to land some players, it just didn’t happen.
