NFL Trade Deadline Discourse

The Patriots apparently reached out to Miami about trading for Jaelan Phillips. They either balked at the price, or Miami preferred to trade him outside of the division.

Maybe the Dolphins felt the Eagles’ 3rd rounder would be a higher pick than the Pats’ 3rd rounder.

Williams and/Or Crosby to Jerruh’s team is good. Weakens conf rivals, and…if’s the ****ing Cowboys so it won’t matter
Feels like Maxx Crosby is preparing to leave. But who is trading for him and what will be the price tag? Seems like he's gonna command at least a 1st round pick in return.

I'm guessing he's the trade Jerry Jones has been teasing

I can't imagine any team's dumb enough to trade a first round pick for him.

Not a ton of movement yet. Seems like things probably come down to the wire tomorrow.
Or, you know, the usual NFL trade deadline:

Jurrah definitely would.
Jerry makes some questionable calls, but I wouldn't fault him for this.
They picked up an extra 2026 and a 2027 1st round pick for Parsons, and I believe Maxx would make about $30M less over the next 3 years.
Jerry's not getting any younger. His O is playing at a really high level, but the D is trash.
So I wouldn't blame him.
Now some would argue, why not to just resign Parsons?
Like I said, he makes some questionable decisions.

I'd be more than happy if we could land Minkah Fitzpatrick and Arden Key
Acquiring a veteran pass rusher and a safety would really help solidify our defense and get them ready for contention in the playoffs as well as regular season. Hopefully we see some moves to shore up our depth soon.

Didn't jerraah just say hes in it for the money last week, he really doesn't care as long as the fans show up and buy merchandise. He reminds me of Jeramy jacobs when he owned the bruins. He didn't care if they won the stanly cup as long as they filled the seats and bought from the concession stand

Mike Reiss says
Rb’s and DE’s
Sounds about right
Sorry the link does not show

Vrabel knows him. Either he did not want him or Titans would not trade to Vrabel.
A fifth is nothing

Trade deadlines are always so disappointing with Pats
Vrabel never coached him. He only signed with TEN this year. Was in for 2023-2024 and DEN from 2019-2022.

Thank you for the clarification.
I think he would have been a very good addition
