My theory is they try to act like BB but they dont have the credibility or clout to pull it off

BB's style of coaching isnt for the feint of heart, and it really only works when you've established undeniable credibility

If some new coach came into the league and tried to run their team the way BB does, etc, i dont think players would buy in at all.. but with BB they will buy in because they recognize his greatness, so they will put up with the rough and tough coaching

NFC Central used to be called the Black and Blue division. The action on the field being dominated by ferocious middle linebackers and D lines. The character went out of it dating from when Detroit went indoors.

Chris Berman of ESPN used to call it the NFC Norris division for the same reason; although by the time he started using it the Loins had already moved indoors for good.
