Come on now. Both Butler (3) and Ryan(3) spent multiple years with the Titans. That's after each spending 4 years with the Pats. Butler was 30 when his contract ended in Tenn. Ryan was 29. How many CBs are retained by their team at that age?

LOL, why does this keep happening? Do you have yet another guy I was responding to on ignore? I'm a fan of both Ryan and Butler. I was discussing years in which the Patriots did not have an All-Pro or Pro Bowl CB. We were looking at years in which the Patriots had a mediocre CB pair, without a true #1 like Law, Talib, Revis, Gilmore, JC Jackson. We looked at 2015 and 2011 as 2 examples of years like that.

There are a few teams that might be looking for a starter (Seattle, Carolina, NYG, maybe Pitt and/or Det), and the only two starter-level QBs even possibly available are Mayfield and JAG.
