Yeah, when you break it down to a per player basis it doesn't really seem like much at all, considering the impact it has had on their lives. That first figure jumped out at me; maybe they figured they wouldn't net that much more if they went to court.

That assumes an even split between all players in the class. More likely there will be a split based on severity of injury (ie the estate of Mike Webster will get more than Vincent Brisby etc).

Deion Sanders now wants $ for what he claims as cognitive impairment. This would be after he accused other players of a "money grab". In addition, his position was a defensive back who always avoided tackling. It is possible that he does have symptoms, but his history of character flaws makes this doubtful.
